"Carbonneau is great! This is why I am writing a review even without having been asked personally or by email - which I only do when job or product is outstanding. Carbonneau did two insulation projects in my house this year. A large one in September, involving attic insulation (cellulose, lifting of platform) and insulating a large unused/unheated room in the second floor. This first one was done so diligently and cleanly, that I immediately texted Mike Carbonneau to thank him for his and his team's professionalism. Also, the team was friendly, and it seems they all get along very well and work hand-in-hand. The second project was done yesterday: insulating two crawl spaces through which the house was loosing quite some energy. These spaces were tricky due to their small size and complex geometry. It probably took the team longer than they had anticipated. Nonetheless, they continued to the end at the quality that they had delivered in the first project. Not rushing through things, great care! I love it when I feel I'm in hands of people who put the same care as if it was their own house!"

"I researched window replacement options and installers for almost two years before deciding to contract with Bruin. We have a nearly 30-year old 2-story colonial house that was built with all wood windows, and the windows have been failing for years. They were drafty, no longer moved up and down, and this past winter snow even blew into the house in one of the windows. We opted to go with Bruin's SoftLite vinyl windows for a number of reasons: 1) Made in the USA. 2) We could get ivory on the outside and white on the inside. 3) The window frames did not lessen the amount of glass exposed, which is very common in most replacement windows. 4) Excellent pricing! The installation took place in just two days and we are very pleased with the results. The crew was polite and efficient. They replaced all the rotten boards surrounding the windows, so we anticipate these windows outliving us."

"The three-man crew spent a day restoring functionality to four original windows on the second floor of our 1888 house.  They removed the upper and lower sashes from each window, reglazed the exterior glass to clean up the sight lines, improved the interior movement of the windows by sanding the sash stiles, cleaned and lubricated existing pulleys, replaced the broken ropes with chains, and installed bronze weather seal and parting beads. <br /> The process necessarily creates a certain amount of noise and dust, but the crew took measures to mitigate the dust by covering other furniture and surfaces with plastic sheeting.  Their clean up was complete with nothing left behind. Our windows now work beautifully, and I would definitely hire FPP again. It was a pleasure to work with them. <br />   <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We had a skylight in our master bedroom removed and Charlie and his guys installed insulation and repaired the inside hole. They arrived as scheduled and performed the work in a timely manner. They left the area completely clean and you can't possibly tell where they did the work in the ceiling, it looks perfect. I didn't rate them for price because after talking with Charlie at the estimate I decided I wasn't going to hire anyone else. Highly recommend!"

"We've used PBS before for a basement remodel. On the first of the two occasions in question - 2 years ago - our rear gutters started making a buzzing sound when the wind blew from the side of the house. It was very loud and annoying - sleep-denyingly so. It was mid-summer and T-storms were coming constantly so I texted PBS owner, Pete Ceraldi, and gave him the scoop. He had a crew to our place within 2 days to put everything in order. Golden. Jump to this year (2017). 3 Feet of snow had fallen within a week and then mid-60s temps were making waste of Mother Nature's thick, white blanket. The quick melting caused snow and ice to slide swiftly off of our roof ripping our gutters down in the process. Another text to Pete - he responded same day - from New Zealand, on vacation! That was on a Sunday. By Wednesday he (still in NZ) had a contractor crew to our place to pull all the gutters down, clean them up, and re-install. Twice Golden."
