"We hired Guardian to install our security system at our Washington, DC, business. The service and quality of the work was horrible. We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."

We recently called and scheduled for a date and when they Didn’t show up we called them again and they said no one called to schedule anything and we’re very rude about it. "I hired Larry based on his reviews on Angies list. Larry was prompt and arrived on time. Larry talks a lot and missed on some crucial things like coding violations and blatantly wrong things that should have been caught by an experienced inspector. Here are the top things he missed which I had to painfully learn during the the last 2 years since I owned the home... - Poor shape of the roof. I noticed this during inspection and asked him about it to which he said they looked fine. But they were not fine and pieces of it has been blowing over during storms. - Gas connection in kitchen violates code. The inspection report he sent was a useless template and after inspection I was getting sales calls from home warranty services and other useless stuff."

"I have nothing but good things to say about Colin and the team. They are professional, brought in an army to stay on track with timelines, and left the place looking better than it was before they started. They re-painted and finished the job better than expected. We could hear a pin drop upstairs before they came and it's now 80% better. We can hear them occasionally walking on the hard floor but no music, or anything else. We could hear their dog running up the hall, and no longer. The one thing to be aware of is that it's a full scale renovation that results in a lot of dust. It takes time to get every surface clean again but that's the only difficulty. They even fixed exposed cable wires in the ceiling and did additional aesthetic things that was not in the contract because "it made sense while the ceiling was open". We are the 4th in our building to use them and they continue getting business from our neighbors. They come highly recommended."

"This review is on a job that was done 9 years ago. Please take this into consideration and read. We did a total re-model of a master bath. Over the past 9 years, we have had numerous problems, mostly with tile having to be replaced because of a poor job and cut corners on the installation. Have had numerous tiles replace and water damage because of of this installation. We have now found out that the installation of our shower unit, which is digital, was installed backwards and we will now incur thousands of dollars of repairs. The unit is from Moen and we confirmed with them that the plumbing and installation was done wrong. We also had a major flood from the bathroom sink caused by cheap hardware used by AD in the installation of the bathroom sink. If you decide to hire this company, just keep my experience in mind. Your problems may not be visible or noticeable till years later."
