"We’ve used Flatirons Plumbing several times now and they have always done a great job. Anthony came out to assess the issue we were having with a kitchen faucet. He was very respectful and pleasant. He pinpointed the problem and now I am waiting for the part to come in. We will happily have Anthony come back to do the install."

"Heart contacted me immediately - Even though it was on Easter Sunday. The technician performed the repairs satisfactorily. The only recommendation I would add is that I received 2 text messages, saying that two different technicians had been assigned this job, and they were both on the way. Plus, it was a little pricy for the parts and amount of time taken to complete the job."

"Jay was able to come early which worked for us. He assessed the problem with the leaking valve, offered 2 solutions with clear pricing and clear reasoning as to why he recommended the slightly more expensive one (much less likely to fail in the future!). He accomplished the work quickly, showed me the completed work, and showed me why the other valve had failed, AND the area was clean and dry when he was done. Throughout the visit he was pleasant, polite and respectful. Will be happy to use this company again!!!"

"I called to have inducer motor replaced and could not be happier with result. Worked directly with owner who was informative, upfront, honest and polite. I have no reason to give anything other than 5 stars. Pricing was fair and work was done exactly as promised. Would recommend to family and friends without hesitation."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Broomfield, CO

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
