Out of all the quotes I received Nate Meyer took the time to understand the unique dormer situation on my home, and got onto a ladder to check things out. No one else had done that. He knew exactly what the job entailed so there were no surprises. His price was very competitive. On top of all this, Nate was very timely with all communications and he responded to questions within 24 hours. I had a concern with one of the windows after installation and Nate was at my house within a couple days to make sure all was good. I would highly recommend!"

"This entire team was a pleasure to work with on my window replacements. The windows are a very good quality, the two gentleman who installed them were so wonderful. They were quick but did excellent work and cleaned up after themselves. Windows are not cheap, but Zen was by far the most reasonably priced option for a quality product that I found. At no point during the process did I feel pressured or rushed to make decisions but when I was ready everything moved very smoothly. "The brochure say's that the owner or son will be on site to see the job through, that's far from the truth. After the son visit to secure the deal, make promises or elude to promises, don't expect to get a return phone call even to follow up. The job started with leaving roof items in the back driveway in clear vision of the street with my gate left open. I had to secure the loose walk away items in my garage to avoid someone from getting ideas. I was not staying t the house at the time, luckily I stopped by to check. When they arrived they did not even take an inventory to see if anything was missing until I pointed it out. They were messy with tearing of the roof and I had to remind them to clean my entrance and neighbors yard. I brought up the fact to the main contact go between (which is the secretary) after contract is sign that the crew was urinating in my back yard after I told them they could use the bathroom.There was supervision of the crew on the first day but nothing for the next day. I was billed over 1K for rotted wood replacement and I was told they would be pictures for proof but I was never was shown any. After the job was done, then came the review of the work and "where my check". A discrepancy was noted on the flashing but I was told they fixed it but never witness nor knew when they came. I got a phone call to see they did it and the secretary came to get the check. I still see one or two pieces of strip of plastic and green nails from the job on my 3K over budget roof from the Angie's offer. The price is no bargain compare to better professionalism all around from other companies from previous quotes obtained. This is a matter of you get what you pay for and being stuck after a $5,800 down payment."

"Prompt, professional and repairs look great.
Great experience. Dan and his wife Tania came out to give me the estimate on the window work. While here, I asked  about the concrete work and was told Adam ( the son) could also do that type of work. I went with the company for both repairs.
Dan and Adam came at the agreed time, did both repairs. Also, great clean-up, only evidence of their being here is the good looking work!

"Contacted Hall's Lawncare after reading the Angie's List reviews and because they are located near us. My husband called about the gutter cleaning and was quoted $175. We were told the price was higher due to the hazardous height to reach the gutters in the back of the house. This didn't surprise us since we were unwilling to clean the gutters ourselves due to the height and steep roof. I believe it took a little under a week before they were able to show up. Our only minor complaint was not knowing each day if they'd been there since we assumed they'd arrive while we were at work. My husband walked around the house each day looking for gutter residue to see if they'd been there. I suggest leaving a business card tucked in the front door to announce that the job is done. After they cleaned them (we knew the job was done due to the residue), my husband called back to find out how full the gutters were and received a prompt call back with the answer that they were extremely clogged (as we had suspected). About a week after they cleaned them, we had an torrential downpour and were very happy that the gutters worked properly. The bill arrived in the mail a few days after the work was completed."
