"One of the best contractor experiences we have ever had. Jim called the day before to confirm the appointment. Larry the Plumber was so nice to deal with. He put on she covers to protect my wood floors, worked very neatly and gave us some tips about ongoing maintenance. He did a perfect job. This review us for Petro in central NJ. i was not able to change the company location. We hired them through Amazon."

"My home air conditioning wasn't functioning properly. Will Stahl analyzed the problem and had a replacement unit installed in less than 24 hours on the hottest day of the year! You cannot get better or more reliable service that Stahl's Mechanical! And great conversation too!"

"After getting bids from a handful of local HVAC companies to completely replace my aging HVAC System (remove existing 30 year old oil furnace and 20 year old AC unit and install new gas furnace and heat pump) I decided to hire Aire Serv. Their quote ended up being thousands of dollars less from their competitors all while installing better, more energy efficient equipment than I was quoted from the others. They also removed my oil tank from my basement. I’m very satisfied with the work they’ve completed and the communication from the company was on point. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others."

"First, my project was to install, from scratch, a new HVAC system, including ducting, with tha furnace in basement (initially, it was upstears in a closed). Last year and early this year, I got 3 contractors on site, by direct call, and none of them answered my spefic questions but taking pictures and promising that will send an estimate. I never got it. I was getting anxious. So I got the idea go to Angi. First visit I got in the same day I put my request on Angie's site, called his boss advice me to just change the furnace. I could not, because the previous system was heating OK only one half of the house. Finally, next day I got AJB visit an made me happy. He understood perfectly what I wanted and my concerns and explained to better and quite ingenious solutions on my suggestions. I understood him perfectly because I have strong knowledge of aero-dinamicsor or fluid mechanics so I signed the contract right then. Now, I have a sweet warm house in every corner of it."

"Scott is very fast to respond to any issue we have had with our heating and air conditioning unit. He’s very professional and reasonably priced. Recently, our furnace went out on Christmas Eve. Scott went out of his way to get the part we needed and install it so we would have heat on the coldest day of the year. I highly recommend him for any of your HVAC needs."

"After our, 16-year-old, heat pump failed and our go-to company let us down, we reached out to a few other companies for a replacement. Out of them all, Integrity HVAC, stood out. When we called to set up the appointment, we requested information on several new to the market for 2 different brands units as well as products. Dana came to our house to look over the current system and provide us an estimate for a replacement unit. He brought us up to date brochures and was able to go over each piece of equipment. He listened to our concerns and made several recommendations we did not even consider. He understood we were only running on back-up heat and provided us a quote quicker than our go-to company. His company also offered financing. We looked over the quotes from all the different companies, three companies in total, and Integrity was the best of them all. The items which made us choose them over the others: Dana guaranteed they would remove the old unit and at least have the propane heat and air handler portion up and running before they went home, on the first day. This meant we would only be without heat during the daytime of day one. They offered additional products that competitors did not offer UV light air purification as well as humidity control during the heating season. The quoted price was in line, with all the rest, however we were also having items installed that others could not even offer us. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, we had a good feeling after every phone call or email we made with them during the entire process! Upon reviewing the quotes, we contacted Denise and Dana to get the job going. They answered all our questions, ordered the equipment, helped us complete the financing, explained the next steps, and gave us peace of mind we would not have to worry! The heat pump we ordered was so new, there was a small delay in shipping. They did not let this hold us up to get off the failing system and get us onto the new system. Within a week, the needed equipment was in, they contacted us to set up the installation, and they arrived on time. Day one all the old equipment was removed and as promised, we had heat running before they left! A few days later, the heat pump arrived, and they installed it and finished the entire project. Total installation was only two days as promised. The installation crew, Bryan, Chris, Dylon, Adam, and Will were very knowledgeable, professional, and detail oriented. We now have the brand-new 2.0 heat pump, the new BGH96 propane furnace, all controlled by the BCC100 digital thermostat. We are very happy with the looks of the installed equipment as well as the service Integrity provided. We are also very happy with the Bosch equipment easy to control, quiet operation, and we eliminated the cold spots inside the home. Integrity - the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles!"

"It turns out my central AC unit must be replaced. (I'm not surprised - it is 20 years old!) I was not prepared to set up the replacement that day, but Henry and the other tech were very professional and pleasant, and thoroughly explained the issue with my AC. They quoted a lower price to replace the whole unit than I actually expected it to be. When I'm ready to have it done, I plan to have them do the work."

"This has been a big project. Removing old oil fired boiler which provided heat and domestic hot water. Installed duct in attic, furnace, heat pump, hot water tank. Upgraded electric service. The entire crew has been neat, organized, professional and the quality of workmanship has been great. I would recommend Elmarair to anyone in need of HVAC service or install."

FAQs for central humidifier installation and replacement projects in Camp Hill, PA

A crawl space dehumidifier is a worthwhile investment, particularly in humid climates or if you've noticed musty odors, mold growth, or wood deterioration. Though costs range from $3,000 to $9,200, this investment helps prevent structural damage that could require far more expensive repairs later. Beyond structural protection, a properly dehumidified crawl space contributes to better overall indoor air quality and may reduce allergens throughout your home. Consider having a professional assessment to determine if your specific situation warrants this investment.

Addressing crawl space moisture effectively often requires a combination of solutions. A complete approach includes encapsulation plus dehumidifier installation. For minor moisture issues, a basic dehumidifier starting at $1,500 may suffice, while severe problems in larger spaces could require systems costing up to $14,000. The most effective moisture control strategy depends on your specific conditions, making a professional assessment valuable for determining the most cost-effective approach for your situation.

For a crawl space measuring 1,500 square feet, you'll need a dehumidifier with a daily capacity of 30 to 50 pints, with unit costs ranging from $150 to $600. Your local climate and existing moisture levels may necessitate adjusting this capacity—homes in particularly humid regions might benefit from higher-capacity units. Professional installers can measure your specific humidity conditions and recommend equipment that is appropriately sized, balancing initial cost with operating efficiency for your unique situation.

Crawl space dehumidifiers add $300 to $500 to your annual electricity expenses when operating continuously. Energy-efficient models reduce this consumption by roughly 15 to 30% compared to standard units. Most contemporary dehumidifiers feature humidity sensors that automatically cycle operation based on current conditions, helping manage energy usage. Proper crawl space encapsulation significantly improves efficiency by creating a controlled environment that requires less dehumidifier runtime, thereby reducing ongoing electricity costs.
