"I got a great deal on a new Bradford White water heater for $750 which included install.  Edgar from Edrooter came out and performed the install. He was extremely professional and did an amazing job.  The price was a little more than just the $750. There was an additional $150 charged for extra work that needed to be done that wasnt included in the original offer. New hoses and shut off value were replaced. This was totally understandable given what they looked like and I really appreciate him spotting the problem and taking care of it before it became a bigger issue. <br /> I was extremely pleased with the look of the installation and would be happy to use them again in the future. Edgar took the time to walk me through how the unit works and how to maintain a water heater. I was impressed that he was on time and didnt stop or take a break until the job was done. <br /> A friend of mine paid $1400 for the same water heater and install with a different company. "Kevin quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired the faulty line. He installed the new wiring for new exterior lighting and charged me less than the estimate. He is truly a great resource to have when you need someone you know will do excellent work for a fair price!"

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
