"Thus far we have been extremely satisfied with the work Todd and his crew have done!  This is our first house purchase and there was quite a bit of work that needed to be done.  We interviewed 4 general contractors before picking Todd at T James Construction.  We found T James Construction through Angie's List and now know first hand why all the reviews we read are abundantly positive.  Todd listened to what we wanted and provided thoughtful advice.  He knew that we wanted top quality work, but were on a budget, so we are grateful he was able to work within our budget without compromising his quality of work.  He's been conscious in helping us save money by noting that we didn't need to replace some of the wood in the kitchen that we thought needed to be replaced and advised against buying a new window when the current window could be easily fixed.  We also had random knicks and holes in some walls and he repaired them all as a courtesy.  He's been very good about keeping in touch throughout the process and even taking our calls on the weekend.  Since we were living in the house while all this work was going on, he and his crew were very good about cleaning up at the end of the day.  Todd has also been very flexible with working around our schedule; we delayed in ordering the kitchen cabinets and bathroom fixtures so Todd could not continue with our original schedule.  Additionally, he provided us with advice for some minor work that we wanted to do ourselves.  I'll update this review once everything is completed, but I can't imagine that anything would change from what I've already stated.   A great guy to work with and great work as well!"

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

We remodeled an entire floor which included the master bath, master closet, second bedroom with new walk in closet, which was quite a complicated operation. Adam was very responsive and always available keeping us up to date daily on progress. When we ran into issues, he was quick to call and was a good problem solver. "I found these company online and I hired them to replace all the existing windows and patio doors with new fiberglass (Milgard) Ultra windows and a double French door from them a few months ago for our renovation. They provided us with an awesome price for the windows and doors themselves and for the labor of the installation as well. The representative that I spoke to was very professional and he came over to my house on the time and day that was scheduled ahead of time via the office. The people that we were involved with (including the installers and the sales man), was definitely outstanding. We had a minor issues that accorded during install, and they provided awesome post-sale support as well. I recommended them to all my friends and family as a great company for any energy efficient products. They are fantastic. And have some Sunday hours, which is absolutely a great help. We purchased 2 additional exterior doors from them and this was an add on that we decided to do in the last minute and after the work was stated. We were sure that they won’t be able to do it during the same time… but they did it and it went so smooth and excellent. Should've gone to Landmark construction energy crew for those too. You can shop with confidence with them!"

"Things went amazingly well (and not just because I have low expectations of most contractors in South Florida!) Paul is a hard worker with an artisan's eye for detail and pride in his work. His recommendations were always on target thereby avoiding expensive mistakes. If something didn't come out right, he did it over again on his own without charging extra. After tiling (bathroom or floor), he will replace tiles that don't blend in well without charge. He replaced one of them twice (with a smile.) He even moved the plumbing after the tile was done to make sure that the shower hose wouldn't get hung up on the shower control, again without charge. He is also a magician with doors, and fixed a botched Home Depot installation in about 10 minutes. I've never had a better experience with a contractor. Everything comes out great and no matter what you ask for, you'll get his standard response of "It's all good." Hire him if you can!"
