Jeremy came out and spent hours with us explaining what areas of our home needed to be insulated. He had this great tool which be infrared light, could show the hot and cold areas of the walls. That, and living in such a hot house, were all we needed to decide to go ahead with Clear Efficiency. In the end, our house is now so much cooler. Insulating was the answer for us! Herbert was in the attic and his partner, Cruz, would load the insulation in the back of the truck and bring Herbert what he needed when he was in the attic. It's a nasty job, I know because I've done it before and these guys did an amazing job in record time. After they finished I climbed up to take a look and the job looked very professional, the air vents were not blocked and the insulation was even and deep. The InsulSafe product will not burn(I tried) and isn't itchy like fiberglass batts. The house seems quieter and we're ready for those heating bills to come down soon. He advised me the insulation in the attic was inefficient, the old insulation needed to be removed and a radiant barrier installed, the HVAC ducts needed to needed new R8 insulation, and new R38 insulation. He also went under the house where there was no insulation. He advised we install R19 insulation and a radiant barrier which will also hold the insulation from falling down.
