We met them onsite before work began, showed them around, and made ourselves readily available ? we live 10 minutes away and told them as much. We even told them we had left snacks and cold drinks in the kitchen for them. What followed was one of the most frustrating and frankly unacceptable contractor experiences we've ever had. They didn't fulfill the most basic terms of their own contract. Their contract explicitly includes "customer walk thru and proper operation explained" as a deliverable. Instead, they called at 3pm to say they were done and had already left ? no heads-up that they were wrapping up, no walkthrough, no explanation of the new system. Just gone. Their contract also promises to "remove old equipment and clean work area to customer's satisfaction." What we actually found: two giant orange traffic cones left behind, a Brita filter, pieces of wood, and literal dirt"
