"We had a brand new system installed plus all new duct work and registers including demo of old system. It was an extensive job and Justin and his team were amazing and professional. Justin made the experience one of the best we have had. His vast knowledge and what we were wanting to accomplish, he got it done. Great communication and we always knew what was going on. Definitely recommend Justin and his team! Give them a call, you wont be disappointed!"

"YES HVAC scammed me out of $2,500. When I had my furnace & air conditioner replaced last year, YES failed to mention that Carrier (both my heater & AC were Carrier brands) was running a promotion that if you replaced both a furnace & an AC system with Carrier products, they would give you a cash rebate of $2,500. YES HVAC simply did not inform me of the company rebate program; instead, they just took the money from me without my knowledge. I eventually found out about the rebate later when I replaced the second full system in our house. Obviously I went with another more transparent/honest company the second go around. When I discussed the situation with YES management (even providing them with the written proof from Carrier Company of the rebate program), I still have heard nothing further from YES. My suggestion is to go with the competition rather than YES HVAC; it cost me a $2,500 rebate, what will they scam you out of?"

"Had a mini split installed in our room that was converted from a garage to a family room. It got SO hot in the summer I could hardly stand it. Was great to work with, answered all questions I had and I’m so happy with it. "

FAQs for heat pump repair or service projects in Cedar City, UT

Heat pumps move air to cool or warm your home during different seasons. In cold weather, they extract heat from the outdoors and bring it inside to warm your home. In warm weather, they remove heat from your home to keep it cool. This efficient heat transfer increases indoor comfort, improves energy efficiency, and reduces the need for additional heating systems.

Replacing a heat pump costs between $4,200 and $7,900. The actual cost depends on the type of heat pump. Geothermal models are the most expensive to replace, with the price of the unit plus labor ranging between $6,000 and $20,000. Air source models cost between $4,500 and $8,000 to replace, while the replacement costs for a mini split unit run between $1,300 and $8,000.

The average heat pump is designed to last about 14 years, roughly the same as a central air conditioning system (12 to 15 years). Newer models can last 20 years or more. How long your heat pump lasts depends on how frequently you use it and whether you perform routine maintenance like annual tuneups.
