Once everything arrived, the Lonestar staff began the process of removing the old siding and replacing it with the new siding. Partly through the process, the new storm doors were installed. All of this took about 10 days. The staff were very attentive to detail and really took pride in their work. Finally, the new gutters were installed. All in all, a job well done."

Commonwealth Energy Systems opened for business on April 6, 1999, but we were not the new kids on the block. The owner, Stephen Smith, and eight key employees had all worked for the largest window and siding company in Central Virginia and had a combined experience of over 170 years in the home improvement field. We all had learned that just selling a quality product was not enough. Even the best product is not satisfactory if it is not installed properly.
