"He charged $100 each for the gable vents and $300 for the insulation work. Work took about 21/4 hrs. The labor price seemed high, but at least he was willing to come and do this small job, which many firms are not willing to do. He also had me inspect the bays when all the insulation was out, before he replaced the insulation, which I appreciated. He did a rough "shop vacuum" after the job, but there was still a lot of vacuuming I had to do, both in the attic and the house, afterwards. Overall, they have a very solid reputation, and did a good job for us."

"Urban and Sons was assigned to the job by the energy company. I didn't have any bids or choices. <br /> The two men arrived from Urban and Sons. They both seemed experienced but a little informal. They didn't have an exact work order with all the equipment, so at one point they had to get other materials. That just appeared to be a normal, everyday workflow mistake. But I am hyper-professional and the house is a major investment for me, so I felt concerned. <br /> The men were very careful setting up the ladder and equipment. They made sure to avoid making a big mess or doing any damage. <br /> They put in the ridge vent and two attic vents. It all seemed very quick, as if they had done the work many times. <br /> Then they blew in the insulation. It is a hot, low attic with a sharp hip roof, so it was hard work. I have to give these men credit for working in such a hot, dusty job and keeping steady. They did the work consistently and stuck with the job. <br /> When I got home from work, I noticed that some piece of insulation batting around one of the new roof vents was hanging out. I am concerned about rain and moisture, so I called Urban and Sons to check the vents again. The owner was professional and not rude at all. They sent someone the next day, and the staff trimmed the insulation and used some more roofing tar. It was a prompt and helpful response. The vents appear to have worked successfully. No visible water leaks or issues. The insulation was filled into all parts of the attic and has settled into the joists. <br />"

"I hired Albana Roofing to replace the Soffit and Fascia on my house. It's a family-owned company and everyone was super nice and very knowledgable. They did a great job, arriving at 8:00 am each day to work a full day. They even worked on Saturday to get the job done quicker. I recommend them and would hire them again in the future."

Jim did a very thorough Mass Save Audit for us and helped us figure out why our house was so cold in the winter (zero insulation in our 1870s walls!) and helped us set up having Pat and his insulation crew come out to make things right. We enjoyed Ralph so after 6 estimators, went with Casanova. The crew came out on time as scheduled, coordinating for skylight install wasn't too tricky. Job took a couple days more than expected but was completed to our satisfaction. Installer crew was friendly."
