"We selected Albert's Painting to help us with the 'refresh' of our home's interior based on previous comments in Angie's List.  And we now join the many who sing the praises of Albert's.  We unequivocally recommend Albert's to all of our friends. 

Upon calling Albert's we received an immediate call back and scheduling.  Albert himself arrived for the estimate meeting promptly and provided an estimate immediately.  The crew was always prompt, worked diligently and cleaned up thoroughly after leaving.  They were exceedingly polite and always thankful for any small gesture, such as coffee or breakfast sandwiches.  It was such a pleasure to treat them - especially since they were so diligent. 
The removal of the wallpaper, a tedious job if you have done it yourself, was thorough.  But the magnificent work was after they repaired the drywall and finished with primer (well worth the money).  The walls looked better than brand new.  We elected to do the painting and trim ourselves.
I hope you get the same crew we did.  We did price a few other contractors.  A few offered a price a little lower.  But based on other reviewers on Angie's List - we decided to pay just a little more and were well rewarded for the additional investment.

"Great Jeff Patterson came out checked roof, did minor repairs as part of deal. Roof needed some shingles replaced and end caps repaired. Jeff gave price we agreed and were told someone would be out in week or two. next day guy came out and did the work. couldn't ask for better action. told roof would last 4 to 5 years and that was a pleasant surprise as every one around us having new roofs ."

"David did a wonderful job at our home. He painted two rooms and finished a ceiling. He also did several handyman jobs for us: sealed windows and doors, weather stripping, carpentry, fixed/sanded/stained our front door, cleaned out the dryer vent, repaired our deck, etc. He did a great job with everything. The painting was flawless. David was very responsive, honest, great to work with, and punctual. He charged a reasonable price for his services and took pride in his work. "We visited the showroom, picked out the quartz, confirmed the price. A representative visited our home to take detailed measurements. I provided my own sinks and he took one, so the cut out would be the correct size. Within 2 weeks a team came to the house to remove old countertops and install the new ones. Team was very efficient, put pads down to protect floors, careful in removing old countertops, installed new countertops and sinks, and cleaned up. Fireplace & Granite provided the best price of all the dealers we visited. Great company to work with."

"I did not know how long it would take him to repair the shed floor, but he did it quickly, satisfactorily and was willing to continue the day with other work that I had not previously told him about.  He finished the arduous back breaking work of filling depressions in the yard with heavy wet composting ash

I will NOT ask him to do any future landscaping type of work.

They were on time which is much appreciated. They went into crawlspace and wrote up an estimate. This included: clean the air w/an air scrubber set up outside. Seal all vents, remove debris, clean the mold from the wood. Install 6 mil vapor barrier and a dehumidifier. The cost of this would be $5320 including the Angie's List discount.

This would have been all well and good but the true cause of the moisture was not found. Eventually we found that the shower was leaking and that was what needed to be fixed. Water was coming from the shower floor, overflowing the bladder underneath, leaking into the crawlspace.

Had we spent the $5300 to do what they wanted to do, we still would have had a moisture problem. Two other companies did not find the problem either but they also wanted thousands to seal off. Needless to say, fixing symptoms without fixing the root cause is throwing money away.

"We had the handyman fix some wood rot around our front door and window. It was a fairly complicated bit of repairwork work and he did a great job. He was prompt, courteous and professional. We will definitely use him again in the future for other projects around the house."
