"We had two Carrier HVAC systems installed, to the tune of $25K. As the installer was getting ready to leave he noted that there was an error light showing but it probably won't be a problem until it gets colder and we need to use the furnace. Really? Wait for it to fail? No, I had him fix it. I expect to have a new system which is operational, not one which will probably fail on us later! Amazing! A little over a month later the furnace went out anyway. They tech looked at it and told us the control board as bad. On a system which was only a few months old! Even better, they told me they could not get a replacement any time soon - factory problems or something. Again, really? There is not another board to be had anywhere and we had to deal with no heat for about 10 days. Thank goodness we were on the downside of summer. The salesman who sold us the system leaned heavily on the fact that we would be eligible for a federal tax credit of up to $3200. Great... More in the next post"

I paid more that $250 for them to only come once. How is that fair? This isn't the first time they only came once in a year. The argumentative Bridget angrily told me she would send me a copy of the dates and times they've been to my home...I'm still waiting. I asked Bridget to allow me to speak to the owner, she told me she handles all issues and wouldn't allow me to speak to the owner. So what is a customer to do when they have to deal with an angry, unprofessional, argumentative, dishonest employee? Is it asking too much to get what I paid for?"
