"Acorn Home Improvements,Inc. did work on my elderly mother's home. The house needed new windows. The old ones were drafty and were hard to open. In addition to replacing the windows, we decided to have additional insulation installed in the attic. Both crews, one for the windows and the other for the insulation, were professional, polite, on time and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. It was a pleasure to deal with a company that was accommodating and completed the work as agreed upon. Mom and I found their pricing was very reasonable. Since I live out of state, I was not able to be there for the entire process so it's comforting to know that there are companies that are honest and reliable. When the project was completed mom was thrilled with her new windows and how easy they were to open and close. Further more with the proper insulation, mom found that her utility bills have decreased which is an added bonus for someone on a fixed income. Mom and I highly recommend Acorn and would definitely use them again."

"The crew arrived as planned and on time. The job took about two days, which was anticipated. <br /> They were very accommodating to the furnishings and clutter that they had to work around to reach the exterior walls. They worked as neatly as possible. To minimize dust and debris, they held a vacuum nozzle by the drill wherever they made holes. <br /> The only wall I think they didn't do as well as others was in the main floor bathroom where the exterior wall is tiled up to about four feet in height. The choice there was to risk damaging tiles by removing or drilling through them or forgo insulating in that small area. They did insulate that wall through holes drilled above the tiles, but, in non-tiled walls, two holes - an upper and a lower hole - were drilled for more complete coverage, as mentioned earlier. <br /> In all, I am satisfied with the workmanship and the patience Tony and his crew demonstrated, answering all my questions before and during the process. <br />"

"From the beginning Brooklyn Soundproofing and Insulation was on top of the job. I had a home estimate and from the first day to the end, the company's performance was over 100%. They said the job would take 3 days and it took only 3 days. I had to soundproof my wall in my living room because I could literally hear my next door neighbor breathing as well as having temper tantrums every other day. They cleared out the space and kept the work in an enclosed area to prevent the dust from spreading through the apt. The workers were amazing and they did a great job putting a soundproof wall over my existing wall in the living room. <br /> After the wall was completed, I couldn't even tell that a new wall was installed.
