"B&D did a great job replacing my 19 year old inefficient furnace and AC unit. The guys pulled new vent lines and new AC piping out the side of my home with only a 2' x 4' opening in the ceiling of a room adjoining the mechanical room (the old furnace was flue vented). I was surprised they could get this done in such a tight space. In addition to the furnace install they cleaned up the routing of our gas supply manifold and some of the furnace duct work in the furnace room. This was above and beyond what I expected. The furnace room looks more open and cleaner after they finished the job. They finished the work in two days. They were on time, courteous, and left a clean work area when everything was completed. I'd gladly hire B&D for any future needs."

"AC stopped working during a heat wave in the summer of 2021. Total Comfort was the only company with an available appointment to schedule an estimator to come out the next day. The estimator Jeff Robinson was thorough in explaining the options. The price was higher than expected, even with the discount applied. However, they were flexible in withholding the payment deposit until after the installation was completed. On the day of installation, two technicians came out Tad & Jeff. Even though we were all vaccinated, we were more comfortable if the technicians had a mask on inside the house. Initially Tad was reluctant, but appreciated he complied with our request when he was inside replacing parts inside the house. I would recommend their service, due to their professionalism, responsiveness and knowledge in their work."

"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"This company has treated me well, especially Mike Museus, who worked over a year (last summer and this spring) to find out why there was a fluid leak in my new AC unit. The leak didn't affect the cooling of my home so I wasn't concerned, but Mike was persistent, even to returning finally with an "expert" to help diagnose the problem. What they found was that the A-coil above the furnace was full of tiny pinholes. On the day this was to be replaced, Steve came before 9 a.m. to remove the defective A-Coil and install the new one. He worked on it all day, without lunch or a break, leaving shortly after 5 p.m. There was no charge, as it was still under warranty. With all that, he still took the time to explain to me why the replacement was so important: that the defective A-Coil could eventually leak enough to damage the furnace below it. Because he was using solder, I believe, to install the new part, he turned on the ceiling fan in the adjacent room to mitigate the fumes. My only complaint is that a few of my vinyl floor tiles were damaged/discolored by the soldering process. That part of the flooring has had water damage before and is missing a few tiles so, after a day of hard work, he may have attributed the damage to work done before. It's not a big deal; I just wish he'd have said something. I have to hand it to Steve, though; he was working by himself, which frequently required him to leave the furnace area to check the outdoor AC unit, then rush back to the indoor work. I think it might have been a two-person job. At least, an assistant could have facilitated some of the work done."

"I called them and they were available for an appointment window the next day. The window was convenient, 6-9pm I think. The technician came and reviewed the problem, but did not have a part immediately available to complete the job. He gave a fixed quote and offered to come back the next evening to fix the problem. I accepted the quote, and he returned the next evening and fixed the problem as expected. After he had fixed the dishwasher, I also asked him about the noise level. He went back in, and cleaned out an area where some plastic and ceramic had become trapped. This did not fix the noise problem (it may have helped), but I appreciated the effort and it did not cost me anything extra."
