"It was good. We only had one small complaint. The connection to the gas line had a leak. We called at 10:30pm at night, they told us a dispatcher was close. But they never came by. I called them, I had to call them three times that night. They did come to fix it the next morning. They were apologetic. The quality of the installation and the work was good."

"Auston was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He had to stop by twice. Once for a diagnosis and the second time to replace the part once the new one arrived. Be mindful of the model of HVAC system you buy. My Lennox is new but is associated with a known TXV valve failure. All in all I am happy with the service and highly recommend! I did not rate the price because I am not knowledgeable about typical pricing. I did call another company and I wa told the price would be similar but they did not give a specific price. Online the price had a large range, $500-$3000, so unsure of what is normal. The other company did tell me indoor vs outdoor pricing is different. Outdoor tends to be more expensive."

"They replaced a 3 inch pipe and they put in a vent in the sewage line so that it could be easily cleaned out if it ever got stopped up. It didn't have that before. They quoted me $2000 for the job and when they found that it couldn't work initially because the septic tank was full of sand they still went ahead and fixed that for the same $2000. They go beyond what I asked them to do and they didn't charge any more for it. They did a good job. The quality of the work is excellent."

"Waylon, the owner, was professional, patient and knowledgeable about fixing the fireplace from the inside to the outside of the house. He went over and beyond to fix everything and bringing the fireplace to code. Very reasonably priced and highly recommend him for any chimney repairs. Thank you - absolutely no hesitation in calling him and using their services in the future."

"I called at 12:45 on New Years Eve and spoke to Sandra. <br /> I told her what I needed and she gave me a price to pump an overfull 1000 gal tank and when I could expect the driver. <br /> Chris was at my home at 2:15 and pumped the tank and cleaned up the small mess they made. He was very professional and gave me a bill for the exact amount I was quoted. I will use them again. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Clermont, GA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
