"John took the time to check the co levels in my home and the effect the stove vent fan had on my fireplace. What he failed to do was show me when the gas heater was turned off in the sun room how the heater would act. ALso why the heater kept turning it self off, I finally read the book and it says it shut down based on oxygen level in the room. there were 3 of us and 2 dogs in this space so that must have been the problem. the next day I ran the heater with the dining room door open and it did not shut on and off. "I was very impressed. Pat was extremely professional. He helped me understand how a gas fireplace works and the importance of getting the air moving up the flue before turning on the gas. He inspected and cleaned the fireplace, placed the logs in the correct position, and inspected the chimney from the inside and out. The invoice included pictures of the areas and recommendations for further repairs."

"It could not have gone any better.  They were timely and pleasant during the initial consultation.  They provided an estimate which they adhered to.  They kept in touch leading up to the scheduled start date and did NOT ask for a deposit in advance.  The crew showed up on time the first day and every day.  The demo went well.  They worked tirelessly each day.  There were 3 to 4 workers every day and each was polite, appropriate and skilled.  They cleaned up at the end of each day and finished the job ahead of schedule.  They had planned on a full 5 days and possibly another half day but finished in 4 and one half days, and for the original amount they quoted from the beginning.  The bathroom was up several flights of stairs.  They did all of the messy work outside, which meant hundreds of trips up and down the steps.  They prepped the floor, meticulously cut and laid the tile, grouted the work and finished the toe moldings.  When they were done they scrubbed down the outdoor work area, vacuumed carpets inside, and left everything in better shape than they found it.  The finished product is beautiful.  We haven't been able to find a single minor defect in any of the work and there was roughly 500 square feet of tile.

"Not much to tell. Plumber showed up and fixed all 6 faucets in 20 minutes. The cost was $60 for the service call and $60 for the part of the hour to fix the faucets. I assume that the the second $60 would have covered up to an hour's labor, but the repairs were finished quickly. Parts were $7.10 which surprisingly was about what I would have paid if I bought them myself. Overall a pleasant experience."

All the workers were polite and each and every day cleaned up after themselves. Anytime there was any type off issue, Jody was on it and had it taken care of right away. "The one plumber who came in was very good and very easy to work with and did a very professional job. I have used them several times and I have always been satisfied. I would continue to use them in the future. After discovering that we didn't have hot water on a Saturday morning, I called Ben Franklin, who installed the water heater in April. After two attempts contacting their answering service, they finally contacted me 2 hours after the 2nd attempt when I had gotten another plumber. The owner called me on Monday and apologized for his answering service and offered to pay for the service call from the other plumber and install the gas valve required for free. I really think this is excellent customer service. When you acknowledge that you have a problem with your system and immediately make it right, that is all you can expect from a service provider. They have done excellent work for me in the past and only my initial frustration made me call someone else. I recommend them highly."
