"I had a mold assessment done on my house in Northport, New York. Chris found a leak in my bathroom and we pulled up the sheet rock to discover mold. Itâ s all handled now 100% recommend using Long Island Mold Testing for any of your needs."

"They were quick and thorough and knowledgeable and tested air inside and out and then recommended mediation. They don’t do that so there’s no conflict of interest. They recommended a company but left it up to me."

"We are moving into an older house with asbestos covering on the pipes. A representative from JBH came in for an estimate and gave us a very accurate idea of the overall cost. Something that we were not able to confirm at the time of the removal...we were told this was a family-owned business and that someone from the family would come in to do the removal. Neither of the men who showed up introduced themselves as part of the family... The men from JBH showed up on time (very polite guys), removed all the asbestos, and then brought us down to show the work they had done. We were supposed to bring in an independent contractor for air monitoring, but the people we reached out to never returned our calls (they'll get their OWN review on Angie's List). In all the craziness of our move, we forgot that we never actually booked an air monitering company. We called JBH the day of the scheduled removal to let them know about the situation and to see if we should reschedule - they ended up calling someone in on our behalf to do the monitering. Not the ideal scenario, but it was great that they did the extra legwork with practically no notice. We did have to call JBH ourselves to follow up on the air testing results, which was the one downside."

"I was recommended to this home inspection company by my real estate agent. The inspection, as per their website, is "guaranteed" for 120 days. Well, the inspector (Chris H.) in his report stated that I had a working 240V outlet for the dryer. He even inspected the power panel and put a picture in the report. After I moved in, I plugged my electric dryer in, and found that there was no power to the outlet. I then inspected the panel myself, only to find that there was no breaker for the dryer outlet. When I brought this to his attention, he stated that he will "take a look at it sometime this week," to see if he is responsible.
I asked if he tested the ONLY 240v outlet in the house, and his explanation was that he couldn't get to it. I then asked why, when he opened the panel, did he not see that the breaker wasn't there for it, and he stated, "I looked at the panel first, how could I know?" This is totally unacceptable.
It also states on the website, that the customer has the right to hire his own electrican to do a repair "so you have control for a speedy repair." I stated this to him, and they said they have to hire the electrician or else the cost goes to me. Honestly, these people say they care about their customers, but when they are called out, all you get is pushback.

***** Update *****
Chris H. And I came to an understanding and he reimbursed me for the repairs that he overlooked during the inspection.

"

"They are probably the most affordable mold test service in Long Island, they are very reliable and honest."

"Both Mike and Bob were very professional and presented themselves well as SMEs. Appreciate the service and glad my test results were not worse than expected."

"Jeffrey P. Sindone is extremely professional and attentive. I found his name using Chat GPT, and I was thrilled with the experience. I wanted an independent mold testing expert, and I found the right person. When I first called, he reviewed the process of doing the indoor and outdoor testing of my uninhabited bungalow. The report was extremely informative and gave me the information I needed to proceed. I highly recommend Jeffrey."

"Professional to a turn - prompt, responsive, considerate, extremely knowledgeable, very reasonable, fair and honest. The test results are provided in a both timely and precise fashion, and include highly descriptive recommendations for any/all required further action. Quite simply one of the finest subcontractors we've ever worked with and very highly recommended accordingly."
