"Bill did an awesome job restoring the glass in a very old door. Viewing the door you can’t even tell the glass had been broken and it is all around much stronger now."

"Robert came prepared with the parts needed and did a great job on the adjustment. I was very pleased with his communication, punctuality and professionalism. I would highly recommend him for anyone needing work on glass windows, shower doors, sliding doors, etc. His prices are also very reasonable and he guarantees his work!"

"I just cant say enough about this company!! I live in a very rural area 45 miles outside of the Denver metro. It’s really hard to get contractors to travel to our area without charging major service fees. This was not the case with Clear Choice. I had a previous bad experience with a local glass company and explained this all to Jason the owner. Jason came out the same day and only charged me for material…!!!!...now THAT’S customer service!! He was highly professional and very knowledgeable about his craft. The glass had to be ordered, assembled and installed and the turn-around time was very minimal. Its really hard to find companies these days that take that kind of service approach…but as a result, they will get all my glass business!!!"

"Edward was wonderful!! He listened to the ideas that I had and did such a great job creating a custom piece for my baby's nursery. We went with a 100 acre wood theme and he made a "hunny" pot with honey combs coming out of the top. I could not be happier with the customer service I recieved and the quality of the stained glass piece. I will definitely be returning for all of my stained glass needs!!"

FAQs for stained or specialty glass service projects in Denver, CO

To clean stained glass, dampen a soft, lint-free cloth with warm distilled water and gently wipe the surface. Skip ammonia or vinegar cleaners—they can pit the glass and weaken solder. Work in small sections, supporting the panel if it’s loose. Once dry, gently buff the piece with a microfiber towel. This gentle approach preserves colors vividly and keeps joints intact.

Give your stained glass a quick once-over each year to catch cracks, chips, fading colors, or loose hardware before they snowball into costly repairs. A professional inspection every five years is also a good idea; specialists can spot hidden structural problems and reinforce joints that you might miss. This routine keeps the panel secure, vibrant, and less expensive to maintain in the long run.

1800s or early 1900s—especially those associated with renowned studios—can fetch thousands, sometimes tens of thousands, due to their artistry and rarity. Newer reproductions rarely carry the same market value, but they still add character and color to your home. Appraisers or specialized dealers can give you a precise estimate before you decide on repairs or insurance.

Repair timelines depend on size, design complexity, and the technique required. Minor crack fills or paint touch-ups can be completed in a few hours, while full restorations—where every pane and component is disassembled—may take several weeks to complete. Craftspeople work slowly and methodically to protect fragile glass, ensuring the finished piece looks and functions as intended for decades to come.
