"In January of this year, I had another company come and take out the old insulation and install the blown-in insulation. However, they botched up the job and we found ourselves constantly vacuuming the insulation that was coming down through all the recess lights. They hadn’t bothered to seal them correctly. They also created so much mess removing the old insulation; so we had to move to the basement while cleaning up the main floor from the messy job they did. That’s when Dan was called in to remove the blown in kind and install the blue jeans insulation. Dan suggested the blue jeans batts, knowing my chemical sensitivity. I hadn’t known such insulation existed and am grateful he did to minimize exposure to chemical. I was very impressed from the moment I saw the crew wearing a suit that was clearly designed to protect them. Dan’s crew discovered that the other insulation company had not properly removed all the old insulation company, and Dan could have charged me more for the extra removal work, but he stuck with the quoted price and did an amazing job. He made sure I would not be affected by the removal of the old blown-in insulation(have asthma). This time no dust was created while removing the blown-in insulation. "Fantastic experience with USA Insulation. From our first meeting with Paul (consultant) and our contacts with Loretta, to the installation of the insulation (Carmello and Elizar) things couldn't have gone more smoothly. Contracted with them to add 17 inches of blown in insulation to come up to code in HoCo (house built in 1972). Had to delay insulation because of an addition being built since our contractor needed clear access to the attic in main house. Advised company who graciously held the contract open for us. Maintained contact with Loretta (who is exceptional and a pleasure to talk to) and once addition was finished was able to promptly (re)schedule the installation. Installers arrived promptly, explained everything to us in detail and even showed us before/after pictures of work performed. Both gentlemen were friendly, professional and courteous. Left work area cleaner than when they arrived (thorough vacuum of work and surrounding areas). Most pleased with the work performed. Looking forward to a more energy efficient home."

They carefully removed all tiles, facet fixtures, backer boards, tub and vanities from both bathroom. They had to correct both tub decks due to instability from last contractor. They installed backer boards, tiled all tub decks and walls correctly and re-installed tubs, vanities and facet fixtures. "After checking Angie's List and with the Better Business Bureau, I called DeVere. Within just a few days Joel arrived at our door to look at what was needed and to give us an estimate. At no time did we feel pressure to sign on the dotted line. Joel was professional and obviously knows the business. Once we received Devere's insurance certificate we scheduled the work. Armando and a helper arrived in their work truck and proceeded to rip out all the old insulation and replace it with the new materials they had brought. It was a horribly messy job getting rid of the old insulation but the crew did it without complaint. Once they were done not a trace of material was left behind. The new insulation not only looks great but it does a good job of keepint the bathroom much warmer than it has in the past. Armando and his helper also did a terrific job wrapping the pipes. Neighbors have experienced burst water pipes this winter due to the bitter temperatures and I have DeVere's crew to thank for not having to worry about ours. "My fiance and I were having problems with interior water damage caused by a faulty stucco wall. Dimitri and his crew were amazing from the start. Dimitri provided a reasonable quote and walked us through his proposed solution - an exterior insulation finishing system. He told us that not only would this system prevent moisture from entering the home, it would also increase the home's energy efficiency. He was never pushy and wanted to make sure the project was something we were comfortable with. When we decided to select his bid he spent a great deal of time discussing the details with us in-person, over email, and on the phone. He even spent several hours with me at the DC permitting office to help get the necessary scaffolding permit. <br /> When it came time for the job to begin, his crew was on time and extremely professional. They continued to discuss the progress and various finishing options with us as the work went on.  For example, Dimitri would send us daily photos of the job site and ask for our input. The job finished early and was extremely well done. We only found one minor finishing issue that was a mistake by a member of his work crew. Dimitri went back that day to fix it. What great customer service! <br /> Overall, Dimitri was extremely easy to work with and completed the project at a very reasonable rate. After several weeks with the new exterior insulation finishing system we are very happy with how the wall looks and performs (we have already noticed a difference in the warmth of our home). "I was skeptical of getting the air ducts cleaned however, since I was getting a new HVAC system installed I wanted to be sure that I was taking care of any other issues that may prevent me from getting the best comfort in my home. The cleaning was quick and boy if they didn't get alot of crap out of the ducts. They had never been cleaned since the house was built almost 30 years ago! <br /> When they sealed the ducts I regained over 20% more efficiency in the air duct system! I was amazed at the difference with the before and after test. You could see where the sealant had "over spray" on the outside of the exposed ducts where the gaps had been.  <br /> The cleaning and sealing has greatly improved the comfort in my home, in addition to the new HVAC system. I would highly recommend having your air ducts cleaned and sealed. It was well worth it! <br />"
