"I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. I highly recommend Bluestar for their reliable service and Isaac’s thorough and knowledgeable work."

They responded without delay and were able to perform the work the next day. "It has been said, that with every great success, begins with a single small step. Recently, I was faced with my home's central air system failure. Upon review, by my previous contractor, the system could not be repaired and would need to be replaced. "The Blue Dot staff (from the administrative staff to the technicians) were professional, communicative, and helpful. During installation of my new AC system the technicians were curtious, respectful, and always explained what they were doing. After installation we were given instructions for operating the system and I was appreciative of that. After a few months a part of the system failed. They responded quickly though, ordered the part and replaced it in a timely manor. The technician Alex, who repaired my unit worked diligently into the evening (in my hot attic!) to make sure my system was up and running before he left. He was curtious, respectful, and personable. It was enjoyable to have him in my home."

"While the technician who ultimately serviced my system was efficient and informative, the overall experience was unacceptable. It took nearly 18 hours and three separate appointments to replace a single fuse under a warranty installed on November 4, 2025. The dispatch, scheduling, and supervisory staff were dismissive and unresponsive, demonstrating a complete lack of customer care. This was, without question, the worst customer service experience I have encountered. Additionally, the failure itself appears to stem from incomplete installation guidance, as I was not properly advised on potential system vulnerabilities (such as power surges). While I appreciate the technician?s work, the breakdown in communication and service at the management level makes it difficult to recommend this company."

"Kurt was extremely knowledgable and helpful. I had received several conflicting opinions from other companies. After fully examining the attic, Kurt was able to explain that the principal problem was high humidity levels in the attic. He laid out several solutions to the problem, all of which can be accomplished easily and inexpensively. Kurt spent approximately 90 minutes checking out the problem and made every effort to explain my options. Others had suggested very expensive solutions. Kurt solved the problem without resort to extreme, unnecessary, and expensive measures."
