"Tom Mackey, the general manager, came to do my estimate and was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the services I was interested in: blown in insulation of exterior walls and he suggested insulating the area between joists(?) of exterior walls in the basement. He answered all of my questions, did not rush or pressure me into services I didn?t want or need. He was upfront, trustworthy and I felt confident in choosing DANA Insulation for my needs. The staff who came to do the work were also very professional, timely and truthful when they realized that my home already had insulation in exterior walls. The basement insulation was completed and in that time a manager/ supervisor called me to explain the new total for the work actually done. "We hired Guardian to install our security system at our Washington, DC, business. The service and quality of the work was horrible. We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."

Removed the awning quickly and replaced all the siding that was damaged from the awning installation. Didn't request payment until he knew we were happy with the work they did. "It went pretty well. There was some tape residue left on our hardwood floors from the installers using blue painter's tape. We were reimbursed for the damages. However, I would recommend that they don't do this on future customers' floors, especially in an older home like ours."
