"They had to replace and install the new heating system. They are wonderful and we have used them probably for over 10 years now. They are available day in and out. They are I believe a smaller company so if there is any issues and anything to discuss, you have the ability to talk to the owner. They actually replaced the heater one time before and it was a bad unit. It wasn't anything we did or anything they did, it was just that the unit was faulty. The whole unit flamed up our heating system. They came out and completely replaced the unit; they actually fixed everything that was screened for coil, I guess it's commonly known among these people and they didn't charge for that. This happened about four to five years ago. They are just very good and gave a very good deal as we were using them for more than 5 years. We told them to purchase a new unit, but they replaced it with a very good deal. They are just a great set of people. Overall the experience was excellent and will continue to use them."

"While having my siding removed and replaced, decided to insulate the exterior walls. They coordinated with the painter and checked the weather for when the project could be done. Also, the estimate was given several months in advance and was still honored once the project got going. They needed to come out twice to install the insulation because the siding took time to come off the house, but they were more than willing to work with the painter's schedule to make sure things got done in a timely fashion. Friendly folks who take time to answer questions and did excellent work getting the house insulated and now operating efficiently."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"Josh came over looked over everything and explained all our options and we chose high efficiency variable furnace 96 so installed 3inch pvc pipe for exhaust and one for fresh air to come in. Looks GREAT. Put in a variable air conditioner unit and leveled it out new pipes and so forth looks GREAT, installed New water Heater with no problems and made it to code which is GREAT, installed an April Air 600 humidifier and an iwave air scrubber to help with family allergies and 4 animals. Josh is a Great Guy for one and Did an AWESOME JOB ON THE INSTALL and answering any questions we had through out the process. "Tap Heating and Cooling came while I was at work and my wife was home taking care of our newborn.  The technician, Jeff, was very polite and very quiet as well (as we had a newborn sleeping) which I found to be amazingly courteous.  He performed the cleaning and inspection of our furnace very quickly and efficiently.  When Jeff was finished, he let my wife know the the circuit board was mounted improperly, but that he went ahead and took care of it as it was a very simple fix.  As well, a filter was included in this service.  I had recently replaced our filter (not realizing I was going to take advantage of this awesome Angie's List deal) and he let my wife know that the filter was still good and that he left a new one next to the furnace for next time.  We recently moved here, but Tap Heating and Cooling is for sure my go-to in the area from now on as they showed nothing but professionalism, honesty, and courteousness while in my home.  Thanks Jeff and Tap Heating and Cooling, I'll see you in summer for my A/C tune up!

"Overall, everything went well.  He arrived on time.  He was very conscious about cleaning up after working. The outlet in my garage and the bathroom light fixture were a challenged to install so it took him about 90 minutes to install it. The light fixture needed a box but he managed to run a wire through the dry wall to install without using a box.  He spent about 30 minutes to replace the two electrical boxes which had worn out.
He appeared to be very honest and he did great work.  His prices were reasonable too.

"I used Ben Franklin. I think what they do is send out different plumbers on their list. The first one was a bummer. he ripped me off and overcharged. The next time they sent out a different plumber who was an older man. When he heard about my first experience,  He got on the phone and called the company, when they finished the job they took off $400 off of my bill. If I could have that man every time. The first guy totally overcharged me. 

I have some more things to have done, but don't know if I can afford it. I wish I could have the second guy who came out.  I would consider using them again.

The price kind of sting me, the faucet was very expensive. I think thats why the nd plumber called and got me the refund. He used the fair price guarantee. I think $600 for a kitchen faucet is kind of steep myself.  Thats one of the things I complained about to the nd plumber. One of the things being advertised being AL they were going to replace an outside faucet for $79 and the first guy charged me almost $300. 

If Benjamin is just working with several plumbers in my area and they see who is available at the time in my zip code, Unless they have vetted the people themselves personally and know what they are going to do, it isn't such a great deal. 

They did the work I asked, just the pricing between the 2 different plumbers were a bummer. 

I thought $1353 was excessive, replacing an outside water faucet, routing out the pipes from 2 sinks. They told me they couldn't clean out the existing faucet enough for it to work, so I bought the faucet he had in the truck. 

My nd experience was great, came out in time.  For professionalism, the first plumber was overcharging but the second plumber was fair and was good for retired people.
