"My old hot water heater died, and a friend installed a new small 40 gal tank. But I never had hot water after that. I also had a leaking lead pipe. Patrick came and had to be a sleuth to try to determine the cause of the missing hot water. The tank was too small and not functioning, but the real problem was a crossed pipe somewhere in my 1890 house. He found the pipe location in the basement and put in a shut off valve, which gave most of the house hot water. He also put in a high quality 50 gallon tank, and repaired the leaking lead main. To completely fix the hot water, it will mean opening walls, so we left a small 1/2 bath sink and attic sink to be fixed at a later time (or not....).. This was all around Easter, but he put in long days to get it all done."

"It was 10am during the week between Christmas and New Years day. My main water valve inside the house was stuck in the off position so I had no water for toilets, sinks.... Chris from the company made it out to my house in advance of the Noon appointment and worked with the village (the village has to turn on\off the water from outside to my house) to get the repair completed within 2.5 hours, which was amazing. The price charged I thought was very fair given that I needed emergency service during the holiday season when availability of service is constrained. Because they weren't able to give me the specs of the water heater they would provide, just a flat rate on the heater and install it was difficult for me to compare with other quotes provided. I ultimately decided not to go with them because I got a bad feeling when they mentioned having worked in my city before but didn't seem interested in complying with city regulations requiring permits. Do I like needing permits for everything? No. But I'd rather do it how they require than face penalties later. When I expressed my reservations based on previous issues with the city, they agreed to the permit as long as I completed the process."
