"They came within a day and converted by old 3 knob setup to a more modern 1 knob setup which required cutting and reconfiguring pipes. The whole job was done in a half day and the shower/bath was repaired. Very nice plumber and front office team as well."

"I hired this company to check an error code on my water heater. They informed that the anode rod needed to be replaced or I could just replace the entire water heater. They gave me several quotes including $4800 to replace just the anode rod or $4500 to replace the whole water heating unit, but wouldn't show me pricing details. I told them to move forward with the repair and afterwards he could walk me through the details of the pricing. They charged my card for $4127 plus tax. I asked to see an itemized invoice and was told I would be sent one when the technician completed his notes. I later received a one line item invoice for $4127 plus tax for a 50 gal electric water heater replacement, several photos, and nothing more. I looked up the retail cost of my new water heater and it is only $825. The average cost in my area is $1000-$2300 for installing a replacement water heater of its size and kind. This company will overcharge you. I?ve filed with the AG for price gouging. "

"Schmitty's Plumbing responded to my Angi's service request almost as soon as I submitted it, and they beat out three other Angi plumbing companies in terms of pricing and transparency. I hired Schmitty's to remove an old double bowl kitchen sink and faucet with a new single bowl sink and upgraded faucet. There was no upselling or attempts to convince us to replace our garbage disposal which two of the other plumbers recommended we do. We saw no reason to replace our disposal which functions well and is not that old. Partners Drake and Gage came out to our home as scheduled, and they got to work immediately working efficiently and thoroughly. We appreciated their no-nonsense, honest, prompt service, and very fair pricing. I chose Schmitty's based on the positive customer reviews, and would hire them again. I told them I would recommend them to all my friends who have plumbing needs!"

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Everett, WA

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
