"It went okay for the foam part. but when they patched up the mortar it made my house look like it had chicken pox. "USI was wonderful to work with. They had to coordinate with another company that was replacing our siding, and everything went very smoothly. They installed new Anderson Fibrex windows, which look beautiful and function well. They even replaced the old white tile window sills with wood sills that we could stain to match the baseboards and wainscoting throughout the house. The whole thing took only three days--and the third day was necessary only because a couple of windows that had been replaced earlier necessitated drywall repairs had been a different depth than the new windows, so some dry-wall repairs were necessary. Rusty was our sales person and he stayed in touch until the job was completely done. I'd definitely use them again."

"I usually have Mountainwest Service Experts inspect my furnace in the Fall and A/C in the Summer, so I'm familiar with this company's expertise and have written a prior review on this service.  This Fall during the furnace inspection the technician inspected the tube exchanger internally and noticed small hairline cracks along the welded seams along with rust starting to settle into the crevices.  He then noticed a small odor of gas coming from the tubes.  Now, having worked in a gas processing plant for better than 20 years in Wyoming I took these issues very seriously.  I did have him sniff the tubes to verify the leaking issue.  He did not have a problem because I think he was just as interested in verifying the leak as I was.  Rather than replace the costly pilot valve I asked what a new furnace would cost.  At about that time the hot water heater kicked on while my wife was doing laundry and it sounded terrible, obviously completely covering the heating coils with sediment.  So, now I'm looking at replacing a hot water heater.  He could not give me any prices, but scheduled someone to come to the house that afternoon to go over replacing the furnace and hot water heater.  The sales consultant, Dennis Brock, came to the house and after looking at a couple of options and going for the highly rated Variable Speed Lennox furnace and Rheem hot water heater, I then asked what if we just replace the A/C while we were at it.  This was all 21 year old equipment so it was ready to upgrade.  Dennis gave me what I thought was very competitive for what I consider the highest rated brands on the market today.   <br /> A week later they came to the house and replaced everything discussed.  The technicians  took utmost care in protecting the flooring and putting drop cloths down on the carpet and stairs.  It took a day and a half to completer.  They did a very good job on installing and cleaning up afterwards.  They were polite and very professional and punctual.  They did call and let us know when they were on their way.  They fired everything up and worked flawlessly.  What I did appreciate is Dennis came by the house a couple of days later to follow-up with us personally to see how we felt about how the installation went, the technicians and if we had any concerns about the service or operation of the equipment.  He answered a couple of questions about the rebates I had and assured me Mountainwest would handle getting our rebates delivered, and if not, to give him a call.   <br /> I can't say more how professional this company is please we are in having them do our installation.  Quality company. <br />"

"Everything went really well. Rob was punctual and got everything done quickly. The price was competitive. He and the contractors he brought in did an awesome job. In the master shower, they replaced and fixed some of the old pipes and fixtures, installed a new shower pan and all the tile and fixtures. He was even able to work in a curve ball we threw in and installed the niche in the shower. For the outdoor stair drain, he and his crew were able to remove the old, ineffective drain and setup a much better drain with higher capacity and that is better at absorbing the water and rain. Rob also did some research on the best options for drainage in the stair well and helped us avoid costly options that would not work long-term. We're very happy with the result. For the window well installation, he got the job done despite our indecision and patiently worked with us while we changed our minds. Now we have an installed window well attached to the wall in a very narrow space with the drainage gravel all setup and ready to go. All through the process, Rob was awesome at communicating with us, keeping us updated, and figuring out solutions with us, giving us invaluable info based on extensive experience to help us make the best possible choices."

"My thermostat froze and would not turn on my heater just as the weather turned cold at night. I called Barlow and begged them to send someone out as soon as possible. When I explained that we have a 74 year old (myself) and two young grandchildren plus their parents living with me. They made me a priority because of the ages of the people living here. They sent out a technician named SPENCER. He went out of his way to replace my thermostat. He was totally professional and more than helpful. Because of SPENCER I am spending a cozy warm night in my home. I am so grateful for Barlow squeezing in an appointment for us and as an additional perk SPENCER was even able to arrive early. "While I can’t recommend flooding your house just for the experience, if that’s the experience you’re already having, I can wholeheartedly recommend using AAA Restoration to help get things back to normal. When we discovered that a water main had burst and flooded under the house, we were at a complete loss as to how to handle it ourselves. Fortunately, our frantic search for a disaster cleanup crew led us to the highly rated AAA Restoration company. While my husband attempted several other companies and either couldn’t get through or was told he’d get a call back “later”, I got through to AAA Restoration immediately, and they had someone out to our location faster than we thought possible given that it was the end of the business day. They fought through traffic to help us start pumping hundreds of gallons of water out from the crawl space and under the house storage areas. It was such a relief to know someone else who knew what to do was taking over. The employees were all very informative, professional, and they documented everything they did along with a complete inventory of what was pulled out from the storage area and how everything was dispositioned. They worked well with our home insurance, and we got regular updates on the progress of every step of the way. We went from basically having an “indoor wading pool” to dried and dehumidified and back to feeling like it was just the normal home again. The fans and dehumidifiers were already set up and had been running for half a day before we got a call back from even one of the multiple other companies we had contacted the night before. Even after the work was done, the house was dry, and the bills were paid, Brittany was incredibly helpful in tracking down some information for us on some of the specific items that had been in storage. While I’m hopeful we’ll never have a flooded house again, we are 100% going to be using them for carpet cleaning moving forward, just on the basis of our experience over the last couple of weeks. 11/10, can recommend."
