"I hired Solaris to help with a home I just purchased that has aluminum wiring. For the same price another company quoted me for just the AlumiConn connectors Solaris obtained the permit fee, insalled the AlumiConn, and upgraded my electrical panel with ArcFaul circuit interupted breakers to ensure the property was safe and insurable - so I felt the price was worth it. I was working with a short window of time to obtain homeowners insurance so I appreciated how fast Solaris was able to come out and complete the job. The women I worked with over the phone, Ida, was extremely helpful in breaking down my options, payment process, ect. and was even available to talk to after my regular work hours. Overall I have nothing but positive things to say, thank you so much for a fast job well done."

Safety first, why have a breaker that may not trip versus one that will trip and keep you safe. Some homeowner's insurance will no longer insure homes that have a Stablok Panel.
Solaris Technology recommends that anything 20+ years old be replaced with new, upto date equipment.
Give us a call or visit our website, if you would like us to replace your old receptacles with the new Tamper-Resistance receptacles. They are safe for children and easier to deal with than the old plastic plug that you insert for safety.

"The installation has exceeded my expectations. I was hesitant about switching to solar, but after the installation, I am glad I made the decision. The panels look sleek and modern, and the energy savings have been incredible. But more than that, I feel like I'm making a positive impact on the world by reducing my carbon footprint. I am truly grateful for this service."

"Ethan explained (in detail) how they would not only set up the panels on top of my home, but that they will also "pressurize" my home, including my air conditioning unit, to ensure that I get the best service possible from my panels!  He explained every detail of cost, taxes, and best of all REBATES!  He explained several methods of purchase, as well.  I have his personal cell phone number in case I have questions, and I can call their office at ANY TIME if I need anything.  So far, my experience with Sunpro Solar (Mandeville, LA) has been nothing short of great!  In a few weeks, I'll have my solar panels installed.  The time it has taken to get to this process has been minimal.  Everyone I've spoken with at Sunpro Solar has been friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, and accommodating.

"Freddie was personal, professional ,and very thorough in his assessment of our 32 year old manufactured home we  were about to purchase. He identified areas of concern including a water leak under the house, and an over loaded utility breaker box that was a potential fire hazard, and a roof over the storage shed that needed work. These were acknowledged and corrected by the seller before our purchase. Since I had signed up in the Orlando area on Angie's list, but live in The Villages, it was a much longer trip for Freddie than he originally anticipated, yet he kept his bargain and made the trip any way.  I appreciated his diligence.

FAQs for home energy audit projects in Ferndale, FL

To prepare for a home energy audit, begin by preparing your space. Clear any obstructions around the attic, basement, ducts, crawl space, appliances, windows, and doors. Gather all your energy bills from the last year and information on home upgrades if you’ve made any changes. If you’ve previously had an audit done, include that information as well.

Finally, be prepared to discuss any questions or concerns you have. If you’ve noticed a rise in your energy bills, hot or cold areas in your home, or unusual sounds from ducts or appliances, make a list to discuss with your auditor.

How often you should get an energy audit depends on the age and condition of your home. New homes with no issues are recommended to get an audit every five years, while older homes should audit every two to three years. If you’ve noticed any changes to your energy bills or other areas of concern, you should get an audit as soon as possible. It’s also a good idea to conduct an audit if you’ve made changes or upgrades to your home, such as installing a new furnace, windows, or doors.

An energy audit takes three to four hours to complete. Your auditor sets up testing equipment, conducts an exhaustive walk‑through inspection, and performs all required evaluations to identify energy loss points. The audit follows a systematic review that includes visual assessments, mechanical tests, and detailed documentation, resulting in a precise report of improvement recommendations.

You can schedule a home energy audit any time of the year—it all depends on what's convenient for you. That said, timing it right can help you tackle issues before they impact your comfort and bills. If you live in a colder climate and want to avoid high heating costs in the winter, getting an audit in the summer allows you to make improvements before the temperature drops. On the contrary, if hot summers are your concern, a spring audit can help you stay cool and save on air conditioning.

To find a qualified home energy auditor, start by searching for local energy auditors with great reviews and recognized certifications like those from the Building Performance Institute (BPI). These credentials ensure they're qualified and can help you qualify for rebates. Don't hesitate to ask about their audit methods and schedule a consultation to see if they're a good fit for your needs. Doing some research upfront helps you get top-notch service and maximize your energy efficiency.

Once you have your energy audit report, it's time to take action. Review the recommendations and prioritize the upgrades that make the most sense for your home and budget. Reach out to experienced pros to get quotes and discuss how they can help. By making these improvements, you'll boost your home's energy efficiency, lower your utility bills, and enjoy a more comfortable living space.
