"Had an issue with our washing machine not draining. Problem was a bad lid switch. Dean from LOPHC was professional, courteous, and responsive and diagnosed and made the repair quickly. Price was completely reasonable. Definitely recommended and will use again in the future."

"Fantastic. Scheduling was easy and friendly. It wasn't an emergency situation so Tammy got me on the schedule for a day and. half after I called. Chris showed up in the first half of the 4 hour time window I was given. Once again, friendly and professional service. Tested water flow to confirm the issue, then snaked out the drains and had me run multiple wash cycles tub draining to ensure no issues."

"I contacted Aladdin (for the first time) to make an appointment to inspect my furnace to make sure everything was working properly. I am so glad I called as I have been searching for a good contractor and Aladdin service did not disappoint. Their tech was outstanding; he arrived on time, professional and he answered all my questions. There was 1 item that needed to be replaced (furnace is 15 years old) & he explained why. He provided a level of service that was exceptional and something all the prior heating & cooling companies I used in the past were lacking. I will now be contacting Aladdin for all my future furnace needs including my A/C. Description of Work: preventive maintenance on furnace."

"My husband & I actually ended up hiring them for both electrical & plumbing projects, & their techs were all professional, knowledgeable, & friendly. I was very impressed with their work. The electrical was flawless, & they even noted several things that ended up saving us a little over a thousand dollars worth of unnecessary changes. The plumbing was a huge project, & they finished everything within a day. I can't say enough good things about this company. They even have a VIP program that's affordable for the year & saved us a ton of money on our projects."

"Well if your looking to get ripped off by someone, call My Plumber. We never got an estimate of how much the job was going to cost, he fixed our well but charged us triple the price that it should have cost. I should have asked the locals that live here about him. After talking to some of them, they said that's what he does, OVERCHARGE YOU for the job he does. Do your homework before hiring him."

"I had McQuade company to replace the furnace and additional ducts work. When I was email the sales man Scott, he was agree that he would do Duct pressure test to verify the unit is able to move sufficient air through the duct. But when the technician finished the work, and after I paid them with the credit card, he said the company did not ask him to test the system. I called Scott the next day, Scott said, the company had no tool. I realized that they took my money, they would not perform the test any more. They took full price, but they would never test the system as we discussed in the email. I would say never hire this company any more."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Fraser, MI

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
