All the crew members Ben Mott (was very knowledgeable, did the home energy audit, followed up with competitive quotes, which was adjusted to accommodate my request, offered BGE rebates upfront, patient and friendly to attend my calls and answer all the questions), Zam (Crew leader who did the exhaust fan installation), Tun (Crew leader who did an outstanding job to insulate the attic and basement), David (Crew leader who did duct cleaning and Aeroseal) were phenomenal and did an outstanding job. The end result is a day and night difference before and after the work and my BGE bill last month went down by more than $100 which is a huge cost saver. "The experience had its good and bad points....mostly good. <br /> I had 4 firms come out and give me estimates for this work and these guys were (by far) the least expensive. The fact that they are a local company (less than 1 mile away) was a big plus in my book too. The estimator was very professional, but I had to call the office back to actually get the estimate emailed to me. I had already scheduled the time off from work and had another contractor coming to the house to replace an attic fan, and CARROLL was very accommodating - getting me on their schedule for the same day. The price was right, so I exercised the option to bring the attic above code to R49. The work crew showed up a little early (which was fine). <br /> Here's the rub: I always make it a point to observe closely when I have a contractor in working on my home. I don't hover, but I make it a point to see what they are doing. Now, CARROLL offers to seal up the light fixtures and pipe protrusions in the drywall at no extra charge (as a part of their service). But the workers that performed this task did a very poor job of sealing. I know. I know, the price was right, but if I’d have known the type of hap-hazard effort they were going to put in, frankly, I’d have just gone ahead and done it myself. That’s the bad…The good is that, the workers found a disconnected bathroom exhaust vent and re-connected it before piling 20+ inches of insulation on top of it. So, while I worry about the seals they half-heartedly did, they allowed me to dodge a bullet on the exhaust vent. Once they started with the insulation, the job was done in minutes. They had me inspect their work in the attic, and it looked great. Probably a B+ on quality, but that's not an option."

DETAILS: Larry ID'd not only the temperature-control problems with the house but also made sure to learn how I actually use the house. That meant a great deal! The team did accidentally take out a light bulb in the basement but they immediately informed me, apologized and cleaned up the glass. I mention that incident as an excellent example of their professionalism! Much appreciated! PRICE: Great price all around! Half of the cost is expected back in a rebate from BGE. This is much more meaningful when I consider that it cost me nearly as much from another company a year ago just to blow-in insulation above the 2nd floor attic! Great work for great value and, yes, I'd use their services again!"

"I had water damage which resulted in large sections of drywall and insulation being removed. The guys from Maxc Impressions installed new insulation, replaced drywall, skimmed over the “orange peel” ceiling treatment to make it totally smooth, replaced door and floor molding, and painted the room. The drywall work was some of the best I’ve seem as was the painting. They were always on time and cleaned up every day. The workers were compliant with COVID safety measures, kept me informed of work progress and plans and were respectful of my privacy. Their quote for the work was very reasonable and their work was top notch. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to family and friends."

"Wille was a true professional. The presentation was informative. I wasn't ready to spend $$ on a new roof so they offered me a "work now - pay later" up to a year without any interest. I thought it was a good deal. At first the finance company thought I needed to submit monthly payments but I contacted DreamHomes and they corrected it. I had a beautiful roof installed in May and still haven't given them a penny. Next April I'll pay in full with out any interest. Oh, did I say that they threw in gutters for free...well, they did."

"I hired Ramon and his team to do my attic insulation. He was flexible with scheduling over two days as we needed to replace ductwork for our HVAC in the attic. His prices were WAY better than anyone in Northern Virginia. He was able to come out in two days to remove all the old and dirty insulation that was thirty years old. The attic was cleaned and air gaps sealed. He came back promptly when we were for the insulation installation. Not only did they do a great job at sealing but they did a great job at spraying 18 inches of R49 Fiberglass. They were professional, timely, and cleaned up after themselves. They went above and beyond my expectations. I am so happy and would gladly recommend these guys for anyone. Five stars!!!"
