I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. "Horizon Services was tasked to replace a 25 year old Central Air system. The team was on time, well mannered, polite, friendly, worked as one unit. Talking and giving suggestions to another if needed. Any mess they made, they cleaned up. I left the house to return to work. I left my cell phone number for them to call me if they completed the job prior to my return. they attempted to return items to their original space. I don't remember the crew taking a lunch break. I asked if anyone had lunch? They stated "finishing this job is more important.". The job took approximately ten hours. (Non stop) It was expensive, but worth it! When they removed the antiquated material it was replaced with brand new up to date equipment., The old equipment was taken away! I would highly recommend Horizon Services to anyone who asked."
