"Unfortunately, I have to give these people a start, even though they don't deserve it, and I suspect their good reviews are likely fake. Please be cautious and don’t let them scam you. They will come to your house under the pretense of providing an estimate. They start at $200 for air conditioning duct cleaning but then claim to find mold. They act honestly and try to help you by offering the best deal. What began as a $200 service ended up costing me $2,700 for cleaning 15 a/c vents, all while alleging that they found mold. Sadly, in my effort to protect my family, I ended up paying for something that wasn't true. I know I will lose a significant amount of money, but I hope no one else has to go through what I am experiencing. I can’t ask this person to feel remorse for taking so much money from a single mother trying to keep her home clean and healthy for her kids. I plan to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, hoping these people will learn not to take advantage of others and to be honest with their customers."

"DE Flooring has been our go to general contractor for 3 separate projects in the past 15 years. 1st project was to replace all the kitchen countertops/bars & niches’ ledges with a beautiful veined high end granite. 2nd was a shower enlargement and installation gorgeous slab marble to the shower, separate tub surround and double vanity. The scope of the work also included to close up a wall and add an arched built in to our master bedroom. All the work was superior quality, it became even more apparent when after an unpreventable illness this awesome shower had to be replace to accommodate a zero entrance ledge and a wheelchair entry, hence another complete remodel. In the process of this 3rd project remodel it was easy to see behind all the walls and 10 years later not a drop of water had leaked or penetrated the original install. It was so tight it was difficult to take it down. I am confident this second remodel of the bathroom will be just as well done as the first. We also chose to replace the master suite carpeting which gives quite an uplift to the rooms. The owner comes by and double checks on the progress daily, instructs his crews and speaks to us. He never has dismissed our inquiries no matter what adversity could be lurking in his personal life. His subs are all professional, friendly and extremely respectful at all times. This is also a reflection of the leadership. You cannot go wrong by engaging this company to do your construction. If a mistake happens it will be rectified immediately with no argument as well. Mr. Abdoul will personally get it done."

R-value measures how well insulation resists heat flow, which directly affects your home's energy efficiency. The higher the R-value, the better the insulation. By calculating the R-value needed for your specific climate and home design, you can choose the right insulation materials and thickness to keep your home comfortable and reduce heating and cooling costs.
You don't need to remove your old insulation before adding new insulation, as long as it's in good condition. Adding new insulation over existing materials can improve your home's energy efficiency. For example, you can install blown-in insulation around fiberglass batts or place rigid insulation over existing layers to enhance the overall R-value. However, if your current insulation is wet, moldy, or damaged, you should remove it to avoid health risks and maintain optimal performance.
Installing insulation typically takes five to twelve hours for batts or boards, and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. The exact time depends on the type of material and your home's layout. If you need to remove old insulation, have a larger home, or hard-to-reach areas, the project may take longer.
The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors has said foam board insulation can last up to 100 years if properly installed. Some insulation materials can suffer from water damage or start to sag over many years, thus reducing their insulating ability. Foam boards shouldn't suffer from sagging but have the potential to get damaged. Any broken pieces of foam board can reduce its insulating effectiveness.
