The thing I appreciated most was that he was wiling to replace only the actual front door slab without a pre-built frame (unlike other contractors I talked to), which would have changed the entire configuration and look of the front porch entry. It was a custom door and he still had to cut it to fit with the sloped floor (this is normal for porches) but he made it work and I’m happy with it."

"I was contacted by Derick within two days of signing up for the service.
A meeting was arranged for Derick to come an look at the location plus take measurements.
He showed up and was very professional and knowledgeable about the whole process.
I was given a very fair estimate to which I agreed to and he then put in the order for the door.
Once it came in he returned and installed both the door and new opener.
Once done, he tested it and showed me how to lubricate and care for it.
All in all a very pleasant experience from start to finish.
I would definitely recommend and use Capital District Overhead Door in the future.

"I'd had a evaluation and estimate from Exterior Solutions and after then not having received a call back or return email (the inspector had also pulled a loose single from my roof leaving it exposed) I went back to Angie's List. T&T came up, noting it had a good rating, I called. Dave and a colleague arrived, evaluated the roof and offered to repair it free of charge. Still blown away by this. A member of their crew arrived yesterday and did this; apparently they've ended up correcting other work done by Exterior Solutions and they only wanted the good will rating for the work. Incredibly nice and very professional."

"On 2/22/16 I purchashed Angie's List Big Deal for 3 Energy Star Windows from the Window Source of the Capital District for $725. The owner of the company, Demian, contacted me promptly and scheduled an appointment to come to my home on 2/24/16 to take measurements and provide product information. I was very impressed by his honesty and product knowledge. In addition to the Big Deal, I ordered four additional Windows at a very reasonable price. On 3/21/16 Demian and his partner arrived with the new Windows, removed the old ones and expertly installed a total of 7 windows. it was a two-day project that went smoothly. The windows are beautiful and well made, the installation process was done professionally and with great care to detail. All debris was cleaned up and taken away. My sincere thanks to the Window Source guys for doing such a great job. A good, honest company and a pleasure to do business with.
