"A broken water heater discharged most of the tank throughout the basement, including the crawl space. While we had cleaned up a goodly amount of water, there was quite a bit in the crawl space, and I was concerned about wet insulation and and the wood framing in addition to water underneath the shelving and storage in the basement. I called Cleanbright in the early afternoon, and Matt called back within the hour. He came over that same afternoon to determine what needed to be done, and returned later to set up the fans and dehumidifiers to dry out the basement. He set everything up, and gave me the time frame expected to dry the basement thoroughly so there would be no mold or mildew. He also called the day after the equipment was put in to check on how things were going. Matt returned again the next day and checked the basement, which was completely dry, from insulation to wood, and he and Chris removed all the equipment quickly and neatly. We were very pleased with the service and fast response and the good results. I would use them again and recommend Matt and his company highly."

"We met with the estimator to look at our project - replacing the poor work of another contractor (who we tried for a year to get to fix the issues). The project included replacing all of the soffit/fascia on the house, fixing the trim and flashing, and we added on a bathroom vent hole. The price was fair and reasonable. The workers were friendly and efficient, the team was very clean and respectful. They picked up every night, and were polite in every interaction. They even recommended other contractors for work they don’t do. The work looks a million times better and was super fast compared to my first nightmare installation (a few days vs a few weeks). I would use Cousins again, without a doubt."

"We contacted Comfort Windows to make our home more energy efficient as they were recommended by NYSERDA.  The hiring process went smoothly.  The local sales rep came to the house and walked us through the process.  They then sent someone to evaluate our situation and make recommendations.  They then presented us with their proposal and everything was to our satisfaction.  Once we entered into a contract for services with them that ball was dropped.  We were told work would be done in the summer months, when I would be home to oversee them. This did not happen.  Apparently our rep left the company that July and the ball was dropped again.  I had to call many time and was finally put on the schedule for September.  Work was completed when I was not around and not to my satisfaction.   They could not insulate areas of the house because they waited too long and we had already received our pellets for the upcoming winter.  We were expecting rectangular aluminum soffits equally spaced under our roof line and they installed circular ones that are not equally spaced out.  They did insulate the attics well, and the bathroom fan was installed to our satisfaction as well.  The piece of ceiling they installed was cut but just set in there and has since fallen out.   We have had to contact them several times after the installation to come back and correct things and some issues still exist.  I plan to contact them again once the weather warms up so all out heat is not escaping outside. <br /> In Summary:  Comfort was great at getting the sale, but the work performed was fair at best.  This was not necessarily the installers fault as they were not given good directions from their supervisors. <br />"

"Amril was very responsive, I had him come to my house before purchasing the 'Handyman for a Day' deal, to see if the tasks I had in mind could be done within the 8 hours. We determined it could be done by 2 men in 4 hours due to the weight and size of door to be installed and the second story work from a ladder. Purchased the deal and we agreed that he would do the work once I had the materials on hand. I purchased the door, had to be ordered and took 2 weeks to arrive. Meanwhile, I also purchased a strip of siding and J-channel to have on hand for repairs and the caulk. Admir supplied the fasteners needed for the siding repairs.Once the door arrived, we arranged to do the work on my next day off. In the meantime, I had sent him the installation instructions to review prior to doing the job. Admir and his helper arrived on time and started right in on the work. Completed the storm door replacement in about an hour. Then the siding repairs. No more siding flapping in the wind! also replaced some cracked trim pieces. Caulked most of my windows, and we agreed I could finish up on my own after purchasing more caulk. The storm door looks good, however there were a couple of details that could have been completed better. Although I had sent him installation instructions and had a copy on hand, he did not really pay much attention to them. So the door is in, but a couple of parts were not installed, leaving some gaps at the bottom of door frame I had not read instructions either - just skimmed thru them, assuming he was the professional and would do it right. I will be able to do something about the gap, however. Siding repair was done well considering the way it was installed nearly 25 years ago. Before he left. I discussed a new deal his company is offering on Angie's List for some masonry work. I will definitely consider Ado Construction for future work, but I will pay more attention to detail before and during the work."

"I am a little disappointed because they agreed to patch these 5 inch holes that they put in to blow the insulation in. They said they will drywall tape it and spackle it. After they left I went up and they only taped it. So they didn t do what they agreed to do. The insulation is good I am pleased about that. I was concerned about the smell as they told me it would go away after a few days and it took a month and a half and it is just now gone. The job was satisfactory but not perfect."
