I finally decided to hire Dustbusters Duct Cleaning this month to clean them out. The dryer vent was also cleaned and the central AC coil was inspected. Jeremy was the technician who performed the job. He was punctual, polite and courteous, and very knowledgeable. Jeremy explained the entire process to me and showed me before and after pictures of the air ducts. I have noticed that the air flow from my heating system seems stronger now which indicates to me that cleaning the air ducts has improved the efficiency of my heating system. "I rated them B for responsiveness because the first time I called I was told they would call back and they did not. As you would expect the price was too high. They ended up tightening a union of pipes and testing to see if it leaked. The first time it was tightened, it did leak and they went to replace the part. A second tech tightened it further, retested and it did not leak.Not sure why the first person didn't tighten further. So the question remains; is the problem solved. We will see when the heating season begins. The techs were young, personable and seemed knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions. They spent over two hours here, some of it waiting to get the heating up for testing. Had a $50.00 coupon or the cost would have been over $400."

"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.
I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services.

"We called, based on a recommendation, with no hot water on Thursday. The situation was worse than we thought. We had lived with diminishing hot water for months, continually making minor adjustments. Until you wake up one day and want real hot water. They were prompt, made recommendations and installed the new system on Monday. There was a problem after installation, but with discussion was settled to my satisfaction."

"Although no one is happy with having to replace a boiler, which is a very expensive piece of equipment, Petro made it as painless as possible from a service perspective (my husband and I were so impressed by the prompt service call at 2:30 AM in the morning), and also from being extremely speedy with scheduling installation of the new boiler, as we are expecting a heavy snow storm tomorrow and I have two young children in the house. I believe the price of my boiler was not as high as some of the others listed on this review b/c my house is relatively small (1740 sq feet); and I know I can probably get a replacement for slightly cheaper, but these things are investments in the house and with Petro providing the equipment and servicing at the same time, I have peace of mind knowing I can call them ANYTIME and they will come and fix the problem if anything ever were to go wrong again. We were also very happy with the installation team, who tried hard to clean up after themselves and even sweeped up the utility room before installing the new equipment. They worked straight through lunch to try to install everything as quickly as possible and that was really above and beyond."

"It worked out okay, except that I would have anticipated, the cost just gets more. They always find those things, so it starts at $99 and end up spending $300 or $400. People tell me they always find mold inside your air duct, so they have to put a chemical. They call it a total cleaning as opposed to the regular cleaning which I paid for. What they did seemed to have worked. I have suspicions about when they find other things. "
