"Jeremy, the owner of Parker Home Services quickly - within hours - returned our request for service. He showed up early for the quote appointment. There was no BS. His quote was thorough and accurate. Jeremy removed and replaced the central AC units in a day and a half. His attention to detail is superb. Once the job was done, he brought me over to make sure that the AC worked as intended. While checking vents we noticed that some were not supplying air. Jeremy went back up in the attic and located three supply ducts that had been removed (by previous workers) from their registers and he reinstalled them. He also found a separate supply duct that had a board laying across it, constricting air flow. All of this was above and beyond what the initial job called for and shows that Jeremy takes great pride in his workmanship and making sure his customer is satisfied. We will have them back. "Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.
I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services.

"I called in the morning and they were at my home by noon. They looked at the problem and offered two solutions, rebuild or replace, citing the pros and cons of both. We decided to replace the whole thing as it was more than 30 years since being installed, and a new one would be more water efficient. The whole job - replacing the toilet, the flange, and the shut off valve, took about an hour. There were 2 young men who worked on it. They were very courteous, professional, and kept the area clean. I was very pleased with the work."

"I could not be more pleased with this company or this service. I found them here on AL and with a rebate, it was a great deal. When I called, the woman who answered was extremely polite and helpful and took the time to go over the entire audit process with me (she wasn't rushed as some receptionists are). They sent an email to confirm the date and time.
When the team arrived, they were on time and each of them introduced themselves by name to me before coming into my house. They were all very polite and courteous. The leader (I can't remember his name) gave me an overview of the process and explained things as they went. Basically, they simulate high winds around the house and then monitor for where leaks are. My house is relatively new and has no basement, so it was already pretty efficient, but there were some major leaks by the front door and attic door, which they sealed on the spot. They also showed me that I could hold my hand over any electrical socket, even ones on interior walls, and feel the "wind"--which means air was leaking out those! So I plugged them all with those little socket protectors. The guys also took me into the attic and showed me some leaks, and fixed them--and fixed the attic door by adding a little latch to help it stay closed. All in all, they reduced the amount of air getting into my house by 500 (I forget the units). It was clear they didn't just make up this number--they showed me the number after the first test and then after the second test (when they had treated the problem areas).
I also got a few free CFLs and LEDs, and bought 3 more LEDs since they were at a great price. They left some rebates with me, although all my appliances are new so I didn't need anything. 
When they left, they each said goodbye and were very professional until the end. They were respectful in my home and asked before opening any closets or doors, etc. I felt very safe with them here, which is not always the case when people are in your home working. I think the price is a fantastic one, especially with the AL rebate that was on when I scheduled. I feel I got my money's worth. My husband and I had tried to plug some leaks ourselves, but we didn't really know what we were doing and we had no way to measure if we were really helping anything. This audit gave me hard numbers to look at and I was impressed that they did the fixes on-site (included in the price--for instance, they plugged a whole around my front door frame by installing a clear plastic barrier). It was a great deal and a great experience. Highly recommend!
Bonus--when we resell this house in a few years, I will definitely list that we got a professional energy audit performed on it and that it's very efficient. Definitely a selling point!

"We recently had a complete roof replacement. Before proceeding, we did comprehensive research of area companies and Vista came out on top, with good reason! "They actually cut (very neat) holes in the basement furnace runs to reach up with chimney-sweep type cleaners and powerful vacuums. They also went down every register and cold air return in the house doing the same. What impressed me was that two these guys went way beyond what any technician from my furnace company (who I'd had an annual clean / inspect contract with for years ever did.) I had reported to my contracted techs that my blower fan was making a strained sickly noise for a couple years. They told me just to wait until it died and it would have to be replaced for ~$1,200. They also had told me that my 'state-of-the-art'(20 years ago) Lennox furnace would probably need to be replaced soon. The guys from Affordable Restoration,LLC took out the blower motor, showed me all the dust and dog hair and estimated that is was 90% occluded which was straining my blower motor, plus all the air to my house was coming through all that dust. They then cleaned and lubed the fan as well as an area of similar debris around a/c condenser unit within the furnace.  This clearly had never been done by my service contractors which I find despicable as clearly in their best interest not mine. Yes, the very neat holes were then very neatly patched but will remain easily accessible for future cleanings.The whole process took ~ 4.5 hours and did cost me way over what the cost of the coupon that drew me in, but I also feel that the maintenance they ended up doing saved me a new blower fan (and extended the life of my furnace) as my newly refurbished fan is now purring happily and quietly.  The guys also installed an ultra-violet light system (as used for sanitizing in hospitals). I would've never thought about doing this, but with our allergy sufferers and knowing how devastating a systemic mold problem would be I decided it was worth the ~$500. They also offered a good 'preventative package':  they will come back every 2 years to replace the ultra-violet light bulbs and do the same cleaning for $300. It's too soon to say how much this will help with allergies but to see the amount of dusty debris that is no longer in our system is a relief to me.

The gentleman that arranged the installation was really good the installers were clean and left everything very neat. I was very satisfied with them."
