"We chose NRG for our solar installation. Everyone we worked with (especially Gemma and Leila) was incredibly helpful and responsive along every step of the process. They responded to emails and texts within a day or two at the most, but usually within a couple of hours. They were patient and very helpful with all of the questions we had (and we had many!), and they were happy to coordinate with other contractors that were doing work on our house at the same time. "Another company worked on my heater twice and did not resolve the problem which was that the heat would not always come on as scheduled. Kenneth's identified the real cause of the problem and fixed it. He also noticed a conduit connection going into the roof was separated where rain could enter. He fixed that, too. Two other companies wanted to sign me up as a preferred customer (for a significant fee) for privileged service. I consider that to be unfair to customers not signed up but have an emergency need. Kenneth's did not try to sign me up to such a program. Kenneth's gave me prompt service and solved the problem at a reasonable price. Kenneth's is now my preferred go-to HVAC servicing company."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
