"The installation went smoothly. Alex and Jose did a great job with the installation. The door looks great and lets in lots of light. Alex and Jose were very responsive and talked to me about what they were doing. They saved some old siding for me so I could do a small patch job. <br />"

"After a while of extensive research in finding for the right contractor or construction company to upgrade our kitchen, we decided based on several reasons to go with Landmark construction energy crew and we are so glad we did. The reasons that made us hiring this company were: <br>-    We felt during the meetings that this company is honest, reliable, focus on making the best decisions for the clients and mainly their passion about what they do and provide. <br>Although the results of the remodeling that was done by Landmark construction energy crew has far exceeded our expectations and goals. Charlie's professionalism and experience among with his artistic vision was truly amazing. From the moment of listening to what we really want to achieve to the end of the remodeling of the kitchen – not even one item was left uncovered. My favorite feature in the new kitchen is definitely the breakfast area with the gorgeous energy efficient windows including the seating area that overlooks our pool and back yard area.  We really could go on and on with lots of more details and explanations about the attention to detail and amazing design that was done completely by this company, but we rather leave it for others.   Our main recommendation about them is that if you think of hiring someone to remodel anything in your house… Than do yourself a favor and hire Landmark construction energy crew. <br>"

"We called the Duct Doctor to clean our Ducts. John came out, took a look, gave us a free estimate, cleaned the ducts, installed an air scrubber and even got our AC purring like a kitten. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We will be passing his info along to all family and friends."

"The job with Sustainable Living Builders went wonderfully. They stayed on budget and got all of the work done in a timely manner as we discussed before hiring them for the job. They are excellent at communicating customer needs and did exactly what we instructed them to do. They replaced our roof and it looks great now. We could not be more pleased with our new deck and back patio as well. Sustainable Living Builders are a tremendous new asset to Sonoma County! Thanks SLB!"

"Outstanding professional work........Richard Sarimana was our inspector. He did a very thorough inspection of our residence and furnished a detailed explanation and pricing information of what needed to be done. He ensured that there was a good understanding of the services. We are previous customers of Pacific Coast Termite (PCT) and were very satisfied with their work previously and decided to use them again. PCT called a day before our appointment to remind of our scheduled appointment and Richard called 15 minutes before his arrival at our residence. Richard had excellent customer service skills and exhibited those qualities which you would expect of your employees. The technician who came to our house was Ron. He called prior to arriving and upon arriving, walked me through all of the areas which needed work and thoroughly explained what he was going to do (termite and rodent work), how he was going to do it, why it needed to be done, and inquired if I had any questions. I could not have been more satisfied with his thoroughness. I subsequently referred PCT to other members of my family and fortunately, Ron also serviced their residences. My brother was equally impressed with the extensive work (termite and rodent work) performed by Ron and other PCT employees. With respect to my mother’s residence, when Ron completed his inspection prior to beginning work (rodent work) he told me that there was no work that needed to be done. As a result, the repair work which a previous PCT inspector had furnished did not have to be done and we did not have to spend any funds. Ron’s honesty is certainly atypical and worthy of recognition and a credit to PCT. Request Ron to be assigned as your technician………..you will not have any regrets as you will receive a thorough professional job coupled with an individual who has integrity. As a side note, if you have any questions re bowling, Ron is the go to guy......he gave me some bowling tips which I am anxious to try and hopefully, my scores will benefit."

"I am so completely grateful to Wedge for my new roof! Especially after what I went through before I found Wedge! Wedge installed a new GAF composite shingle roof and spray foam insulation, which was sadly to replace a and quot;new roofand quot; that was installed incorrectly by another area roofer. Fortunately Wedge has on their team an aeronautics engineer with a Bowing background, who correctly solved the ventilation problem the last roofer had left for me. I only wish he had mentioned this expertise sooner so I would have been more at ease all along! I originally received four quotes and had thought that I had chosen the best roofer. I am experienced with remodeling but I did not know anything about venting roofs. Three of the four roofers that originally wrote quotes would have built the roof and venting incorrectly (including the one I chose). The fourth quoted a price about twice as high as others but would not answer my questions about why his quote was so much higher, so I did not understand what a proper roof entailed. *** Be careful if you are looking for a roofer, because there are roofers out there who do not know about venting, even though this knowledge is required by their licenses; they are still licensed and are still being recommended and positively reviewed on the jobs that happen to work out for them, some temporarily. *** It was six months later when there was a storm that the venting problems appeared. If a roof is not vented properly, I have learned the hard way, it will mildew in the rain and deteriorate in the heat. The first roof looked beautiful so I would not have even known I needed the expertise Wedge would offer me later. It was a painful process to deal with the bond company who did not want to cover the repair costs and the state who did not want to provide the information I needed to know how to repair my roof correctly. I was not fully compensated, which bothered me less than not receiving solid information and the support of knowledge from the state, and feeling misled by offices that are supposed to help consumers correct these types of errors, and set proper licensing requirements. The original contractor attempted to cause further troubles for me that would make you gasp. I am still able to sleep better after hiring Wedge and knowing that the proper roof I now have is worth what I paid. I also have better insulation now for the added price. It is a good value. Wedge replaced the roof and installed the spray foam in one (long) day, cleaned up the grounds afterwards, and returned to vacuum the dust that fell in the attic. It was a great, low stress day. The crew was polite, and performed their jobs well. I had so many questions for months before the roof replacement because of what I had already gone through, and Wedge fielded all of my questions, provided materials and resources, and communicated with me during all of the time of my bond settlement until I was ready to complete the job. They helped me to schedule the date in advance and also were willing to move my appointment earlier when there were changes to my schedule. They went through extra requirements of the inspectors under permit since the first permitted roof had been approved. Also note they are one of maybe three that install spray foam and there are only two I would trust. I am glad to provide a verbal reference for Wedge to help roofing customers avoid the nightmare I experienced. I would have been so glad if I had hired Wedge first. They are now my one and only. <br />"

"It went rough, but we were both at fault. Had to say that first. But I am mostly satisfied. The outside sales person was on time for the walk through. He was nice and seemed knowledgeable. He had a lot of prior experience as a laborer before he became a sales rep. He was able to present his company and offer a quote on the spot. I agreed and gave him a deposit. Off we go. Right? Well, he based his quote on 700 square feet when it was actually 1100. That's why his price was low. You would think that I got a deal. But no. The labor crew only showed up with enough insulation for 700 SF. Not enough. So here is what we had to do. Introduce Jose. The lead man on the project. If it were not for him, it would have went south in a hurry. Turns out that Jose is a good person with a soul, and I am happy to "work with" a great person like Jose. APP is lucky to have him, and I hope they are taking good care of him. Just so you don't think I am fake, the "helper" that Jose had that day was worthless. Didn't want to work because he is a 20 year old kid who was out all night drinking and chasing girls (or boys), and was hung over. I did more 90% more work than he did (yes, I helped Jose. I have a good soul too). I let Jose vacuum out the old stuff, then I made him stop. He understood. Come back when you have 1100SF of insulation. Right? Before he took off, Jose up-sold me on insulating the bottom of my house (in between the floor joists under the sub floor)(under the house), applying a radiant barrier in the attic and switching from blown in cellulose with the pink panther batts. I ended up insulating under the house by myself. Nice. I communicated that to APP, but it got lost in translation. When the day arrived that Jose returned with 1100SF of material to finish the job, he showed up with two helpers. BTW, I had to request the APP office to please make sure Jose was who they sent to complete my job. Regardless of my implicit instructions that I subsequently made with the APP office, that I changed my mind and now want blown in cellulose again, and NO radiant barrier, Jose and crew still showed up with pink panther batts and radiant barrier. Whatever. The crew is there, lets get to work. The reason I only give them a B is because they installed the radian barrier wrong (in my opinion). I did research and radiant barrier should be one inch from the roof sheeting (plywood) if it's hot southern California. They stapled it to the 2x4 rafters so it's really 3-1/2 inches from the sheeting. Not sure if it is even radiating anything at this point. I think I just wasted a $1000. Even so, my neighbor asked me who did the job, and I ended up giving them the APP biz card, so I guess that was kind of a recommendation."
