"Jeremy, the owner of Parker Home Services quickly - within hours - returned our request for service. He showed up early for the quote appointment. There was no BS. His quote was thorough and accurate. Jeremy removed and replaced the central AC units in a day and a half. His attention to detail is superb. Once the job was done, he brought me over to make sure that the AC worked as intended. While checking vents we noticed that some were not supplying air. Jeremy went back up in the attic and located three supply ducts that had been removed (by previous workers) from their registers and he reinstalled them. He also found a separate supply duct that had a board laying across it, constricting air flow. All of this was above and beyond what the initial job called for and shows that Jeremy takes great pride in his workmanship and making sure his customer is satisfied. We will have them back. "At last, a company where Customer Service is an TRUE AND PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE and not just a department or empty promise. After about a year and during some very heavy rain,I had an overflow from one of my upper gutters and made call to Vista expecting to be either put off with excuses or whatever. I promptly received a call back from Brian, who I believe was the owner, who arranged to come out and inspect the problem, which he did. He identified that the gutters I had on that side of my home,and the steep slant of my roof were not sufficient to deal with flow of a very heavy downpour and suggested I install a 6" gutter and gutter guards. I was expecting to get a large estimate for the replacement of the 28 feet of 6" gutters and guards . I was amazed and grateful when Brian stated that as customer/vendor gesture he would replace everything FREE OF CHARGE. How many companies today would do that?. This job has now been completed . Will highly recommend them."

"I was with Petro for two years under an auto-delivery and service plan contract and found the service is good but the prices are way, way over market.  My real problem is with the initial salesman from "DeBlois" that I dealt with, as the two important questions I asked before signing up were not answered truthfully.  I asked if the price quoted was a promotional price or one typical of future deliveries; I was told I could expect the same levels relative to competition.   However, unlike the first delivery, all subsequent deliveries were at least $.50/gal. above other full-service companies I have used (I checked within a few days of some deliveries).   The second problem is that in my initial call  I asked if I would be serviced by DeBlois or another company, and I specifically asked if Petro would be involved, since as a new resident of Narragansett I asked around and had been warned to avoid Petro.  The salesman at DeBlois said there was no connection, but as it turned out DeBlois and Petro are the same company.  So in sum, I found the service to be competent and courteous, but the prices for both oil and boiler service to be very high.  As I am writing this well after the last delivery, my agreement has now expired and I am no longer a Petro customer.
