Lisa was very pleasant and attentive to my long winded explanation, had me speak to Mo who took time talking to me. I asked if he could take a look at unit , he did and said it was operating but not cooling properly but that a full pressurized check of system was best done when weather warms. He was going to leave without a service charge but I asked him if he could winterize furnance, thought quote could have been lil lower for that but agreed because I appreciated his directness and honesty on dealings. Lisa quickly made appt to fit my schedule and Mo and helper were puntual on call as well as prompt responding to night call to check on pressure gauge that they replaced. Service cost all in."

"It was time to replace the 15 year old Panasonic room air conditioners in our co-op.  We have casement windows that require the ac unit to be mounted in a panel below the actual glass of the window.  To put it mildly, it was very difficult to find someone that would take on this task.  I contacted two other AC installers that were highly rated here on AL, left messages that were never returned and sent emails that were never answered.  Then I saw Mike's.   They didn't have as many reviews as the others I contacted and were further down the list on my search results.  I gave them a call, initially speaking to Howard, then sent them some pictures of the existing installation and within a few hours had an estimate emailed to me that reflected purchasing the new units myself and just having them do the installation or purchasing the units directly from them with installation.  I could have saved a few $ by purchasing the units myself, but decided the small premium to get the units directly from Mike's and have them arrive with the installation team was worth the convenience.  This took place on a Tuesday.  On Thursday I decided to go ahead with the project and emailed back.  We decided to speak the next day and try to determine an installation time for the following week.  As it turned out, I had an extremely light work day for Monday.  Around 5pm, I called Mike's to discuss the installation and asked if Monday was a possibility.  We decided to shoot for Monday afternoon, but speak to confirm on Monday am.  Peter called me around 8:30am on Monday morning to confirm and I asked if they could call about an hour before arriving, so I'd be sure to be home.  Around 1pm, I got the call that they were about an hour out.  He and his partner Jared arrived shortly after 2.  By about 6:30pm I had two new ac units installed.  Jared and Peter did a great job.  I appreciated the attention to detail and also that, even though it was a very messy job, thoroughly cleaned up after themselves.  I'm very happy with the work.  In short, they handled this job, from initial contact to completion, the way I would expect it to be handled and the way I deal with people in my own business.  I didn't have to chase them around leaving unanswered phone messages and emails.

"AC condenser wires were corroded. Ac didn’t work at all. I reached out to Finesse last night & Chris promptly replied. He was on time & started work immediately. Chris showed me the problem & quoted the price before starting the job. His work was clean. He wore mask/shoe covers in my home (most repair people by me don’t do that!). Pricing was fair. I’m satisfied with the work & will use the company in the future."
