It was a work of art. and came out better than I imagined. They patiently indulged my "old man" inquisitiveness. The crew represented Insul-Kings very well. I highly recommend them. "From beginning to end the project couldn’t have gone any better. In deterring the scope of the project, they listened to all our concerns, and devised a comprehensive plan to meet all our needs, not just simply an insulation replacement. The actual work crew was very friendly and respectful of our house and property. We alway got notice when they would arrive and were always on time. They kept us informed every step of the way with pictures of their progress. They let us know early on of one potential electrical issue with recessed lighting and worked closely with our electrician a couple days later to resolve the issue prior to actual blowing in of the insulation. Overall, a first class operation all the way and we already feel the benefits."

"I am happy with the job that was done, however, I have contacted the company by phone 3 times this week to obtain the necessary paperwork to apply for a HELPS rebate which the gas and electric company participates in. Each time I am told that the person that must handle the necessary paperwork is not in the office and will call me back. It is now day four and still no return phone call from anyone. If this person is not going to be available for a known amount of time, I would please ask them to just inform me. I have been staying home waiting for a return phone call."

"Urban and Sons was assigned to the job by the energy company. I didn't have any bids or choices. <br /> The two men arrived from Urban and Sons. They both seemed experienced but a little informal. They didn't have an exact work order with all the equipment, so at one point they had to get other materials. That just appeared to be a normal, everyday workflow mistake. But I am hyper-professional and the house is a major investment for me, so I felt concerned. <br /> The men were very careful setting up the ladder and equipment. They made sure to avoid making a big mess or doing any damage. <br /> They put in the ridge vent and two attic vents. It all seemed very quick, as if they had done the work many times. <br /> Then they blew in the insulation. It is a hot, low attic with a sharp hip roof, so it was hard work. I have to give these men credit for working in such a hot, dusty job and keeping steady. They did the work consistently and stuck with the job. <br /> When I got home from work, I noticed that some piece of insulation batting around one of the new roof vents was hanging out. I am concerned about rain and moisture, so I called Urban and Sons to check the vents again. The owner was professional and not rude at all. They sent someone the next day, and the staff trimmed the insulation and used some more roofing tar. It was a prompt and helpful response. The vents appear to have worked successfully. No visible water leaks or issues. The insulation was filled into all parts of the attic and has settled into the joists. <br />"

"Lost some ridgeline shingles during a recent storm. Called a few roofing repair outfits. Albana, in the midst of coronovirus and with a limited crew, made it the next day for the quote AND repair. They really went above and beyond and it was a huge relief to get the job done. However, even if they WEREN'T able to make it the next day, Sonny and Al were fantastic and we'd still recommend them. Professional, quality work. A family business. Will definitely call them again for any roofing needs."

"Love the whole team at Energy Monster! Jim did a very thorough Mass Save Audit for us and helped us figure out why our house was so cold in the winter (zero insulation in our 1870s walls!) and helped us set up having Pat and his insulation crew come out to make things right. Everyone was professional, efficient, and kind. The insulation crew finished in half the time I thought they needed, wrapping up early each day and cleaning everything up so there was almost no evidence they had been there! And our house feels warmer and quieter already -- amazing! "Ted responded to my call promptly and came out for a look.  I provided a drawing and we discussed some of the details.  Ted began promptly and completed the work within 2 weeks.  Each step along the way he called and we discussed the smaller details.  Ted purchased materials to properly match the existing building and matched the roof lines and eve details to the house.  The porch was build very well with solid fasteners, ample dimensional lumber and with attention to details.  Ted met with me several times and provide advice on how I could finish the interior. (I had him complete the exterior.) Ted provide catalogs of supplies to that I could choose the quality of the materials.  The dimensional lumber he used was top grade and the decking was routed to round off the edges.  Ted was very net in his work.  Provide a dumper on site, put away all toolls at the end of the day, left steps to front door intact until the new steps were installed.  In short, he is a great guy to work with.  Has a lot of know-how, good price and he communicates and comes when he says he will. <br />"

"Joshua was terrific.  He first arrived in late December to discuss my options for a back up generator.  We discussed timelines, cost of  equipment and installation and other factors.  We kept in touch via email.  A date for installation was scheduled and the work was completed as planned.  Joshua's attention to details was exceptional.  His work product was very well done.   At the conclusion of this project, Joshua cleaned his work area and left the space the way he found it.  I would not hesitate to recommend Joshua for any kind of electrical work.  I was thrilled with the outcome as Joshua came as advertised."
