Allen, the owner, came out to review the work required. He was very personable, and patiently listened to my description of the work I wanted performed without rushing. I was pleasantly surprised when one of the things Allen mentioned was that he does not collect any money until the job is completed. This is speaks very well for the company. This tells me two things. One, the company is confident they will deliver a quality job to the customer's satisfaction. Two, the contractor is on sound footing and is not existing job to job. This alone is rare to find as most contractors will typically want 50% of the cost before the job is even started. Cost - Out of the four estimates I obtained Parham's was the best, and was most in line with what I thought the actual work merited. Work - When they arrived to perform the repair the appropriate measures were taken to protect the floor and keep the dust localized to the work area. When the work was completed the area was cleaned up. The quality of the work was excellent. Overall it was a positive experience. I will not hesitate to call Parham Masonry for additional work in the future."
