"The project went smoothly. I had a short window in which to work as the furniture on our 1st floor was removed for another project. I set up interviews with a number of companies, received estimates, and Mike's worked out the best. They were honest about how the project saying that some old stains on the floors might not sand out; the stairs treads and risers would need to be sanded by hand, therefore would cost a bit more; and the wood used to patch would not exactly match due to age. All of this I understood since the floors were over 100 years old. They had their staff on site early on the day they said they'd start. They worked as quickly as the weather would allow and the project was completed within the time they expected. Its been almost two years and the floors still look great. I waited a while to make this review in order to see if the work would hold up and it still looks nice. Now I'm hoping for another big project in which the furniture on our 2nd floor will be removed so they can do those floors."

"The entire process went pretty well. Bob (sales) called ahead of the appointed time in order to arrive early (yea!), and the installation team (JJ and two younger guys) arrived a bit earlier than expected (yea!). They quickly moved my big furniture and removed the old carpeting and pad. About seven hours later I had brand new carpeting to walk on! After I thoroughly vacuumed the new carpeting I didn't find any real problems except for one visible "seam peak" in the main floor area (and I believe this may become less visible over time)."

"I discovered a 4 foot run in the carpet where, apparently, a thread had become tangled in the vacuum cleaner. I called Exposition Flooring and left a message. The call was returned within an hour. Yes, they could send someone to take a look at it -- the next morning!   <br /> The service guy determined that the section of carpet needed to be stretched and re-sewn. In order to do this, the furniture needed to be moved (a large, heavy king size bed) which they did. Their entire visit took approximately 1 ½ hours and the result was perfect.  <br /> The bill was handled via e-mail which I always appreciate. Overall, an excellent experience. <br />"
