"After a no call/no show by another technician (during 3 weeks of 90+ temps, a sick spouse, 3 tired dogs & a pandemic), I called Hvac Doctor after finding a referral on Angie's List. My call was promptly returned & I was honestly told I would be contacted if an opening presented itself. Within a few hours & much to my delight after a restless night of sleep, I was called & my central air was promptly & accurately repaired. These guys are top notch professionals as well as knowledgeable. Hvac Doctor is now going to be my new ongoing routine maintenance technician as well. Search no more, call Hvac Doctor! "Overall experience was very positive. Older Majestic fireplace had be giving us intermittent problem past 2 years. Prior repair service (last year) could not identify the problem. Anderson predicted over the phone that the problem was likely the thermopile ... house call verified and replaced it. We've been in this house for 4 years and this is the best the fireplace has worked. Scheduling and phone contact top-notch. Service techs on time, knowledgable and courteous. "The technician seemed knowledgeable despite his young age. Well trained maybe or having enough experience where he'd seen this issue before. The cost of the repair seemed expensive given the nature of the repair (low parts cost) and the time spent doing the repair. Maybe too big of a kickback to HomeAdvisor for the referral."

"Purchased the Angie's List special for a service call.
Found out my compressor was only working at half capacity and was going out.
The whole HVAC system was around 29 years old so I figured I'd get the whole system replaced with high efficiency.
They worked out some options for me and gave recommendations.
I picked out what I wanted and they came out to replace the whole HVAC system a week later.
I let them in the morning of and went off to work. They were done by the time I got home.
The install looked very nice and professional and everything has worked good. (I had to wait several months to actually test the furnace)
To top it off they also corrected the drainage of my water softener (I had recently replaced it but ran short on the drain hose) and brought up the old and placed it in my garage so I didn't have to haul it up the stairs.
They took care of all the rebates for me and a month later I received almost $1000 worth of rebates from the utility companies which definitely helped cover the expense.
