"Florida Palm Construction just finished a large project at my house. I replaced all the floors throughout with wood look tile and completely gutted a bathroom. From start to finish, FPC did such an excellent job. The time frame they quoted me was 2 months and they finished 2 weeks early. Corey showed up at my house either early or on time every single day. They cleaned up at the end of each day as best they could. Helped me moved heavy furniture around so that they project could get started. Corey's attention to detail was incredible. The finished product looks amazing. Brian is so friendly, honest, and easy to work with. I would recommend this company without any reservation."

"Dieter is very knowledgeable about fixing and repairing things. He quickly fixed a tricky problem with a door that would not close correctly. He came with his assistant and they completed repairs on many small jobs I had with skill and efficiency..He showed up on the day we had agreed too and called me ahead to let me know he was coming. I was very happy with the work and the price and will hire him again."

"Extended my patio by installing new pavers. Good communication, no surprises and did the job as agreed. Crew was very quick, in and out in one day. End result was very good, recommended. If had to pick an opportunity for improvement, it appreciate better cleanup after job (ended up with more sand, cement and debris on my lawn than I wished)."

"Marc and his team at Exotic Pavers completed, on a time, a fantastic paving job. Due to erosion, all the pavers had to be replaced in our front and back yards. The team was courteous, responsive to my requests, and careful with our landscaping and lawn. Marc offered great aesthetic recommendations, and estimated the job quite accurately. I had received 4 other bids for this job, and Marc's estimate and proposal was the most thorough. I would absolutely hire them again!"

"I was in the restoration business for over 20 years but didn't have any experience with a relatively new product, i.e., vinyl plank flooring.  I am a detail-oriented person that gets involved in every aspect of a project especially when it is a new product with a new contractor.  In some ways, Benchmark and I learned some new things about what underlayments work best with vinyl plank flooring, and how to get the vinyl plank and underlayment system approved by the county.  I am amazed about how little other flooring contractors and product vendors I called know about the underlayments that will work with vinyl plank flooring.  If you don't use the right underlayment, the floor will probably fail after the contractor is long gone. <br /> But here's the important point ... despite me drilling down on EVERY detail and overriding Benchmark's original recommendation for the flooring underlayment, the lead foreman, Alex Miller, was 100%+ helpful and willing to work through all the details, and ALWAYS with a very positive attitude.  I have worked with many contractors over the years, and Benchmark's willingness to stick with a challenging customer is commendable.  In my view, other than a reasonable amount of experience (which I believe Benchmark has), the number one criteria of a good contractor is how responsive the project manager is to the customer's questions and concerns.  Benchmark gets an A++ in this regard. <br /> Another thing I like about Benchmark is they seem to be the right size company for the average home owner or small investor. They are never too busy to take your call, and they were responsive to inquiries.  Right before the flooring project started, I decided I needed to get some painting done.  Benchmark was able to provide two excellent painters on short notice at a reasonable rate.  When we got rolling with the flooring, the installers (Edwin and assistant) were great.  When the project was completed, they gladly returned some extra materials I purchased to Home Depot at no cost - an extra service not discussed in the contract. <br /> Based on this first experience, I would recommend Benchmark to anyone and will definitely use them again.  I look forward to reading other customer's reviews in the future. <br />"

"Everything went very well. Our porch was 35 years old and the cement slab underneath was not perfectly flat and as such the job was challenging which I knew from the beginning. Barry was able to do what had to be done to make the new porch floor as even as possible. I am really pleased with the quality and appearance of the final job. Barry was very easy to work with and the people working for him really know what they are doing."

"It is was a great experience dealing with GGL & Sons Construction Inc. all questions are answered immediately and the workmanship is excellent. It was so nice dealing with George, Gavin, Gregg, and Mike. It was so good to find a company who takes pride in all their work. My entire exterior of my house was pressure cleaned,a sealer was then put on the stucco, with 2 coats of paint. I originally had a green front door they recommended to change the front door to white since all the trim is white, so glad I did everything looks so pretty. The back patio was rescreened and new tapcons were put in where old had rusted out since the correct ones had not been put in. They came up with even better suggestions, for instance putting in a second screen door on the other side of the patio, instead of walking around the entire screened enclosure which then brought easy access to the hose on that side of the patio, I can't tell you how many times I have used the new door and its only been a week since the work was completed. I also had to have a load bearing pole replaced due to it rusting out over the years, new pole was installed, welded and placed in concrete the work areas were cleaned and swept every day. They diverted the down spot to go towards the canal instead of water running towards my house. All of the work was completed ahead of schedule. Thank you so much for a wonderful job!"

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Lake Worth, FL

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
