"Tuck&Howell technicians responded quickly to my call about a non-working home AC. The technician diagnosed a blown compressor and since our system was 20 years old recommended AC replacement. We researched and decided to replace both the AC and gas furnace to maximize efficiency. The system was diagnosed on Monday, parts ordered by Wednesday, and new system installed Friday morning - just ahead of a heat wave. (We are priority plus plan members at Tuck&Howell and that may have given us some priority - I recommend their priority plus plan service as well, which we've had for some 15 years or so.) The installation went smoothly and the new system is working great. Be sure to ask for a new thermostat, if needed, when you get a new system installed since it may or may not be included by default. We asked and it was provided. Our unit was a Carrier 3-ton, 14-seer unit with AC and gas furnace."

"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.
I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services.

"4/5! They are top-notch on their hired work. We had a major drainage problem and they did some amazing work getting it repaired. Their fees are up there, $110 to remove the shower arm and replace the silicon tape on a showerhead that was dripping was excessive. My primary issue comes to the way they use their checkup services. They review everything and anything they find they give you a quote on without providing a severity or criticality list. Thousands to repair, but is it needed? I continue to use them but am cautious about them coming out on checkups."

"I called Mike in the morning just hoping he would be able to come by and give me an estimate in a day or two. He said he would be working in my area and would call me that afternoon when he was clear. He called me back exactly when he said he would and arrived within 30 minutes. He gave me a quick estimate which was a fair price for the work to be done. It was late in the afternoon but he said he would do the job while he was there. He was very careful not to harm the siding on the house or my plants and flowers. He finished just before dark. It wasn't  until the next day that I could see what a good job he did. All the mold, mildew and dirt was gone and the house and decks looked great. I was very pleased with his work. Would definitely hire Mike again and would recommend him to my friends."

"Craig greeted me with a smile and a handshake. I appreciated his phone call stating the time he would arrive. He removed leaves from inside my outside units, checked freon pressure, and replaced two capacitors. He checked the blower fans on both units for dust buildup and both thermostats. Filters were good. Craig inspected my water heater, but decided to let the plumber check it further. We discussed a service agreement and I signed it. Work was top of the line... Very professional, and thorough."

"Awesome job!!! I called several HVAC companies before contacting Cody. Cody explained all the technical aspects of my issue and even defined the technical terms I didn’t know on the initial call. Not only did he help me understand my problem more clearer and help guide me down the various routes I could take to remedy them, he quoted me almost 50% lower than most companies. After agreeing to the service, he was able to perform the service the following day to restore my AC. Upon arrival with his crew, I asked him how long did he think it would take. He said an hour. "Better than expected. Phil was the only contractor that responded AND came to my house on the same day that I called all the other contractors. He provided me the potential problem for my heat pump issues on the phone that eventually was confirmed during his initial visit and then during disassembly of the old duct system. He was very helpful in providing me additional savings and existing tax credits for the Attic Breeze vent system installed including for the heat pump providing me with the forms. Swift service done on a short time from initial call to complete installation (less than 1 week and completed installation in 7 hours). Great job by the technicians on the installation and housekeeping after the job was completed. Ben A."

"They didn't end up doing the work. They were really high on what they wanted to do. Other people who looked at the porch said that it was not causing an issue with any water intrusion and that there doesn't seem to be any signs on the posts that this could have been recent, it could have been long ago. So no work was done. It was a front porch that had just the level concrete on one side was dipping just a little bit. I think they were going to pump it up from underneath or something like that to level it out. I would say that their response time and their professionalism of getting the quote to us on a timely manner was good. The quote was high and yet the work was not necessary according to other quotes. They should be honest to say when repairs are necessary and when they are not. The guy who showed up was nice and professional and was on time. There was a decent response time."

"New installation went well. I was a little upset that only 50% was covered being that the unit was 19 years old. I'm sure that parts for something that old would be hard to find. Replacement was recommended."
