I met Barry face-to-face for the initial inspection. He seemed professional, although also very busy. He answered the phone while speaking with me to converse with one of his employees (which I didn't particularly care for in the moment). What I did appreciate, was that he was open to all of my questions and concerns and did answer them thoroughly. He also seemed fair in his pricing, and did a good job in communicating with me via email as well. The original deal was for up to 500 square feet and I had more than that in my crawlspace. The original cost for the deal was $149.00 After the inspection and installation and removal of the old vapor barrier, I ended up paying a total of $338.00."

"We completely gutted and renovated a 75 year-old farmhouse. I got quotes from several insulation companies with a focus on spray foam insulation. Aper Insulation was one of the companies that quoted our job. But they stood out immediately because they could offer traditional insulation (fiberglass, cellulose, etc.) in addition to spray foam insulation. Eddie Aper met me at the job site to explain the various options for insulating the house and the initial cost for each. I never felt that he was trying to push me into one option versus the other because it didn't matter to him since he could do them all. We chose to use spray foam because of its superior performance even though the initial cost was higher. <br /> The Aper crew was very responsive and worked long days to finish on time. When in the teens, our feet aren't freezing anymore and the house seems comfortable throughout. No more drafty cold spots in the hallway or around the base of the kitchen cabinets. </p> <p>So, I'm please with the final result. "Jade came to do the estimate  in a timely manner.  He was very knowledgeable and was able to advise on best practices for ridge venting, gable venting and other components of our roof, in addition to what needed repair.  Actual cost was spot on the estimate. <br /> Work was slightly delayed due to the weather affecting the area, and therefore their schedule.  We had trouble coordinating our schedule with theirs, so they actually did the work without us being present (with our approval).  They provided phone text messages and pictures during the actual work to bridge the gap since we were not on site. <br /> Their work was great -- they did more than we asked for, correcting mistakes of the original builder, as a matter of course.  Repairs, given the amount of wind and rain we've had recently, have been put to the test, and are performing as expected. <br /> We will definitely use them again. <br />"
