"Super responsive and friendly. Did a great job at a very fair price. While running the gas pipe to our fire table, he noticed it was going to run right by our LP generator so he added in a connection there and only charged me for the additional connection hardware. Alan and BJ were a pleasure to work with."

"We hired Trident plumbing to install a Flo Water Leak Detection device. We had a hard time finding a plumber who is familiar with the device. Also, many of the plumbers who came out were reluctant to do the work because the area where the main shut off valve is located, is very tight to reroute the pipe and install the Flo device. We received quotes ranging from $500 -$3500 and work statement which involved removing water heater or tearing out a wall from the closet to get to the main shut off valve. Luckily, Davon from Trident Plumbing was familiar and knowledgable with Flo. He was very creative in coming up with a configuration where the main shut off valve, PRV and Flo device can be easily accessible without removing water heater or tearing out a wall. Also, we really appreciated his suggestion to replace the 25 year old PRV and the main shut off valve with a ball valve which is much easier to turn off and on in case of emergency. After Davon completed the work, he performed a thorough check to ensure everything worked properly. He even checked the water heater for us. We will definitely hire Trident Plumbing, Davon, again for any future plumbing work. Thank you, Davon!"

"I needed some additional work done to remove a kitchen disposal and put new pipes in and also to have pipes replaced on a back bathroom we had just remodeled. Mad Pipers did such a great job with the large re-piping job I hired them for over the summer, I didn't hesitate to call Zack & Ragen for the quote for the additional work. They replied promptly and we scheduled the work within a few days. The work was completed by Curtis who arrived on-time and did a great job! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services!"

"Nick and his team completed a whole house re-pipe, including replacing our water main line, relocating & installing a new water heater, and re-positioning a gas pipe for our dryer - in May of 2018. They finished the job in a day and a half. He was a pleasure to work with and had great communication - all at a very competitive price. Fast forward to this past weekend and the valve on the water main line had cracked and was gushing water on the side of our house. I called Nick late in the afternoon on Saturday - and while he was unable to make it out (on his day off - he was out of town for the day) he arrived at 8am on Sunday to replace the valve. I have recommended Nick and his team to several friends and neighbors! Excellent service!"

"We shut off the water to our home and called plumbers we had worked with before. None could commit to a quick response. We were in a real bind due to scheduling conflicts and the need to get the water hooked back up. We called Washington Plumbing and Heating and they committed to a two-hour time window that same afternoon. Konstantine showed up not only on time, but early. He diagnosed the problem and quickly fixed it. He also suggested some potential steps we could take to avoid a water-pipe burst in the future. He was extremely professional and clearly someone who takes pride both in his work and his customer service. And the cost was remarkably reasonable. We will use Washington Heating and Plumbing for all our plumbing needs in the future. We could not be happier with the experience."

"SAVED ME THOUSANDS! I contacted Precision Energy LLC to re-boot my gas fireplace because my furnace had gone out. I initially called a local, big named company for my furnace repair. They (2 technicians) told me the problem was my computer board and or switch issues that would be $1200 to replace PLUS another $1200 for the computer board. But what I should "REALLY do is buy another furnace for $8000". They ordered the parts (which would take 2 weeks in the middle of winter). In the interim I focused on getting the gas fireplace working again to keep my family of 5 warm whilst we wait for the switches and computer board to be delivered. Precision had my gas fireplace warming our home within 1/2 hour. He then asked if he can take a look at the furnace (no charge). Within minutes he had fixed my furnace! The very same furnace another big named company said I should spend $8000 to replace. He took off the hoses inside the furnace and cleaned the the build-up off with a paper clip. He figured what two techs couldn't do in over an hour and saved me thousands of dollars. I AM a customer for LIFE! You would be doing yourself a major disservice to call anybody else for your fireplace or furnace repair or replacement needs. Adam Hall"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Lowell, WA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
