"We hired Guardian to install our security system at our Washington, DC, business. The service and quality of the work was horrible. We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."

It had been installed correctly but was just a faulty piece, which seems rare but either way was fixed quickly and we are happy. "It started with their horrible AI voicemail system. Then waiting for their representative showing up two hours past the visit window. The quote for work was $1760 to animal proof three dormer soffits. The work effort for the two technicians took less then 3 hours and the results was a complete eye sore for all to see. The technician screwed flimsy sheet metal to the fascia boards and glued it to the shingles. Everything was uneven and rushed. At a rate of $300 an hour per technician, I would expect the work to be neat and precise. I text and called to express my concerns and when the manager finally came out he said that this is what they typically do and can not fix it. He offered to refund my deposit but failed to mention that they are retaining 25% of the total cost. $440 dollar spend for holes in my fascia boards and glue on my shingles. Do not do business with this company."

"GREAT! I have a Spanish tile roof and not every roofing company can work on these and not all are reputable. I hired Arry’s Roofing to fix a leak in late March/early April. If I can say one thing about everyone I worked with at Arry’s is that they are honestly out to give you the best service and will not charge you for anything that you absolutely do not need. There are few companies that I have worked with that I can say this about, but I feel like Arry’s is truly looking out for my best interest. The work that they bid on turned out to be a little different than what was needed; however, that was not discovered until the day the work started. The expected charge was decreased based on the work needed and when I called the person at Arry’s I had been working with, he wanted to make sure I felt the price was right, etc. Again, when does that even happen? #1 – the charge goes down? And #2 – Arry’s wanted to make sure I felt the adjustment was adequate for the work being done. WOW! I have not put in a review as I wanted to make sure we had a hard rain and I could test the leak to ensure it was fixed. It definitely passed the test and I have found a new roofing company and have already recommended them to several of my neighbors. The worst thing someone thinking about a roofing job could do is not call Arry’s!"

"The Merillat Roofing Team did a great job. They were professional and courteous. They came by, ripped out the old roof, replaced it, and did it all in a timely manner. This was for a secondary flat roof, not the primary one. When it comes time to replace my primary (hopefully many years from now), I will call them in again."

"I used Truly Nolan for my Termite Inspection when I purchased the home. They gave it the all clear. I hired them to do the pest control on my home and paid for the entire year. After that, I found drywood termites in the window seat and this year I found siginificant past termite damage in the walls of the master bath during a renovation. the walls and insulation had to be rebuilt. DON'T trust them with your most expensive investment! Since I had already paid for the whole year, I asked them to credit my account for the charge, and they refused. During the year, it routinely took 10 days for an in person treatment response, when pests were found, and they never eliminated silver fish, nor ghost ants (which became an infestation after 6 months, in spite of many calls for service on that front), nor Australian cockroaches. I have no pets and live alone, and keep an impressively cared-for home - which cars & walkers will regularly stop by to ask me & my visitors where I found the landscape accents, lighting, rocks, drain correction remedies, driveway treatment, walkway treatment, etc."

He thoroughly explained their whole process, was punctual with being on time for the original estimate, followed up with us up to signing the deal, and continued to follow up after the job was done. The craftsmanship by the roofers, themselves, was impeccable. Showing up so early the day of the re-roof and somehow managing to finish it in ONE DAY was remarkable. Cannot recommend Shingle Masters enough. Surpassed all of our expectations!!"
