They really did their due diligence at making sure they blew foam into all open cavities and kept me apprised of their progress at all times -- including where they didn't need to install any additional insulation. The crew was super hardworking and respectful (always removed shoes or put on booties when entering our home). Alex is extraordinarily knowledgeable about the origin of sound and how to blunt it, and was great at explaining everything. I would hire Alex and team again in a heartbeat. They're outstanding."

"I cannot stress how great Attic Pros were with the entire situation. We purchased a house that not only had very limited insulation in the attic, but also had animal damage from raccoons. George came in and provided a quote after crawling in the attic. We had all of the old insulation removed, a biocide treatment to treat for the presence of animal contamination/feces/etc., and new insulation installed to R-60. What a difference this has made in our home - this eliminated cold spots in our split level, and the house overall stays much warmer! I can honestly tell that our furnace does not kick on nearly as much, and our bills have been markedly lower, and we have a 95% efficient furnace! All of the guys were extremely courteous and professional throughout the entire process. Also, they did not bring any of the old contaminated insulation back through our house to dispose of - this was GREAT! Other companies did not offer this as an option - they wanted to bag it up in the attic and carry it down through our house to remove. We had contamination from raccoons, this is not something I was okay with, and Attic Pros didn't even suggest this as an option. They actually cut a hole in our roof, moved everything in and out through there and then placed an attic vent over the opening when they were finished. You can't even tell - the vent blends in with our shingles. Overall, Attic Pros provided an exceptional experience and they were very fairly priced - less than other quotes we received (I almost got the feeling I was quoted high by others so I wouldn't use them). I have already recommended Attic Pros to friends who plan on using them in the near future. Thank you again Attic Pros for making a less than optimal situation (needing our entire attic insulation replaced) a great one!"

"I had 3 companies out from Angies LIst - King-Bur was the only one that understood the issue - the house was built in 1926 and has funny angles and different roof lines - He was the only one that grasped where the insulation should go and how to accomplish it appropiately. Such a relief. One of the other companies had some crazy idea and proposed 3x the money - His guys showed up and did a great job - cleaning up afterward. Problem solved. THis company is honest and experienced enought to understand the job and was successful in doing what was needed."

"After several quotes for insulating my home, I went with Arctic Insulation. Their quote was very competitive and provided for the exact services I wanted. Chis and Kevin were very accommodating and professional in their conduct. In fact, Chris spent a lot of time with me explaining what he was doing and answered all the questions I asked. He made sure that I was satisfied and even went a little bit beyond by doing a couple of extras that he uncovered while installing the insulation. Even then he held to his original quote that he provided during his visit for a free estimate. Chis was extremely respectful of my house and cleaned up old insulation and extra materials before they left. He also helped me fill out the various rebate forms by providing the information I needed to submit them to the utility. All in all, I highly recommend Arctic Insulation if you are in the market for insulation."

"While everyone that I spoke to with Pure Energy was friendly, I was disappointed in the overall experience. The windows are high quality ( I received Provia windows even though I was advised that they normally use Sunrise). The sales tactics were high pressure, and I feel naive that I fell for them. They are literally the exact tactics that you can find online if you google "high pressure window sales tactics". The windows took a lot longer to come in than quoted, and no one ever contacted me with updates- I finally called the company about 6 weeks after the initial quoted timeframe to get an update. The installation took an extra day ( 3 days total for 9 windows and a doorwall), which meant that I had to change my plans on a Saturday to accommodate being home. The unexpected day doesn't get scheduled on a week day. I can forgive that as I understand that things happen that are outside of the installers control. This was the first time they had ever installed this type of slider door. When the installers were done, I then found out that they do NOT clean the windows when complete. So, after spending a lot of money on the windows....I then got to spend a couple of hours removing every single panel they had just installed and cleaning all of the installers hand prints, caulk etc. off of the windows, painting all of the trim that they put up, and cleaning any of the left behind residue. While I am in decent shape and was able to handle this, please be forewarned if you are unable to complete this task. If I was elderly or disabled, there is no way I could have handled the weight of some of the window panels and I would have had to deal with staring at big smeared handprints on my windows. A family member of mine had another company install windows a few weeks after mine- That company advised that they would never leave dirty windows after completing a job. They advised that "You aren't paying us to have to clean up after us". Another warning- There was a lot of swearing throughout the install. Although I am not easily offended, I wanted to be sure to mention it for someone that may not appreciate it."
